My husband made arrangements to meet someone to give an estimate on extensive storm damage at the property (a rental) and nobody ever showed. When I called to ask if someone was going to show up, the person who answered said that he had another estimate to do at the same time. When I told him that I would have appreciated a call letting me know, he told me to find someone else to do the job and hung up on me.

Their pricing is competitive and their work is of high quality. Dominic is very experienced. He can come out, look at the job, take measurements, do some calculations, and provide an actual price before leaving. He will then email the contract later. We have been happy with them. They are extremely good!

They seemed to be honest and upfront. He was prompt about sending us our estimates. We may still go with this company. He seemed professional. There were no problems.

Dominic Mateja, a general contractor, installed a new roof on our neighbor's house, and when we noticed a leak in our upstairs bath, we asked him to take a look at ours. He did, and told us what we already strongly suspected--that we needed a new roof. Dominic gave us a very reasonable (and free) estimate, and his crew showed up the following week. Dominic uses GAF dimensional shingles with Cobra ridge vents and 30# felt with button caps. He was a roofer in Florida, where the roofing requirements are more strict than Tennessee, and he continues to follow their code. They did an excellent job installing the roof, and Dominic was careful to explain our warranty and to provide appropriate paperwork. He did a walk around the house with us when they were done for inspection. There was only one unexpected expense. When they got to the deck portion of the roof, they discovered that the previous owners had used plywood that was not thick enough for nails or button caps, so instead of risking driving the nails through our deck ceiling, they installed thicker plywood and charged us very little for additional supplies and labor. They hauled away the old material in a timely manner. When I discovered a small bit of damage to one of our garage doors a couple of days later, Dominic was there the next day to repair it, leaving me with the remainder of his repair kit to fix future dings. ASK does remodeling, granite installation, doors, siding, and custom decks, and we have additionally hired them to repair our kitchen floor. They are thorough and are licensed and insured.
