Their prices were competitive with everyone else and their service rose above all other previous experiences. Their technicians were timely and professional. The installation went off with no issues and they even were able to be flexible and work with us so to not interrupt our business that was open. I highly recommend Aire Serv of Knoxville!

+ -1 moreEveryone associated with Air Serv is very helpful and eager to make sure their customer is happy and satisfied. They replaced my old PTAC unit and, for reasons I won't get into, I didn't care for the new unit and requested a different one. Air Serv's Service Manager is currently working on getting a different unit for me. They have a "can do" attitude versus a "can't do" attitude and that is a rare quality these days.

After we worked out the questions surrounding my homeowner's warranty, we planned for Jeff to come to my home. He arrived within 20 minutes, assessed the issue, and gave me a price quote for the service before proceeding. Jeff completed the work, answered all of my questions, and the total was the exact price quoted. I would be glad to use Jeff again and highly recommend.

+ 0 moreMy major complaint is that the company hasn't followed up with TVA for my $700 rebate, many months after installation. And that the city of Farragut inspection department had to notify them twice about inspection after the installation. Aire Serv's representative didn't show up for the inspection once it was scheduled, but we were able to get it approved with my signature. I really liked the salesman, Mike, and chose Aire Serv over other companies for that reason. I also liked every employee with whom I dealt. Installation went fine, and, fortunately, they noticed that (unrelated to this) my hot water heater was leaking. (Another review.) Then I began to have issues, not with the system itself, just little things like the wiring for the system and the upstairs part not working at first.. I am writing this in desperation, hoping that it will result in my getting the rebate.

Description of Work: We called for repairs on our a/c unit, that we bought from them and have had the service for 4.5 years. We noticed a coil in the house freezing up, called a tech came out (on 12/30/2016 guess his New year's eve plans were more important that we were) he was there 10 minutes said nothing was wrong, added some coolant and left, well turned a/c back on same problem called and had them come back out and now they 1800.00 to fix and 4.5 year unit, a service valve that they installed (that was told by their tech was covered) and now it's not and neither is the tsv valve and they want 500.00 for coolant, I told them i do not want new coolant, reuse what we have and lower the price we can't afford 1800.00 for a unit we just bought 4.5 years ago, SOMETHING IS WRONG if a unit 4.5 year old unit has this much wrong with it, called owner will not call me back, and the service manager is LEARNING ... really

Description of Work: I use Aire Serv of Knoxville to service my air conditioner in the spring and my heater in the fall. They check the coolant, clean the downstairs outside unit and changed my filters for me. I had new filters and he put them in. He went up in the attic and opened some baffles in the air conditioning ductwork that are closed during the winter months. He also had some kind of instrument that measured the pressure of something. He had some kind of instrument that he attached and recorded the readings, but I could not tell you what that information was.

+ 0 moreThey crawled into our crawl space and were able to verify that there was no rodent damage at all. However, they did provide me with several photographs showing crushed and hanging duct work. They said that they could fix it for around $3,000, but we most likely needed the whole thing replaced which would be around $10,000. After they left, my husband went into the crawl space and was unable to find the area where that was in the photographs. When he emailed the company to confront them about it, we never heard anything back. It seems they are just betting on the fact that most people won't crawl around their crawl space.
Description of Work: We originally had a company sent to us by our Home Warranty company to repair our HVAC system. That company told us that there was a rodent problem, so we wanted to get a second opinion and had Aire Serv of Knoxville come out.

+ -1 moreA/C compressor not turning on. Troubleshot the circuit, determined the thermostat wasn't providing the necessary signal. The response t to the phone call was quick. I replaced the thermostat myself since it was a NEST. I would use them for any HVAC problem in the future.
Description of Work: A/C quit functioning, troubleshot the problem and narrowed it down to the thermostat. Quick to respond, price was great for quick call out.

Bob Hertwig was great to help decide on which product to choose and I felt that he truly wanted to match my needs with my resources. They did not check what they were supposed to check and they found problem that was not a problem and they tried to replace the problem which may or may not be correct. I told them not to come back. The person was great. They tried to sell me a furnace an that was not the problem.

They brought portable AC for us to use till fixed. When we called cancelled, Bob told us that Do not worry. We can keep their portable AC till we fix it. Their attitude was "CUSTOMER FIRST". + 0 moreSome of the work was passable and it was better than the people I used before them. The management rushed the workers to get the job finished. Their duct work was terrible. Damaged ducts and vents in my attic and I lost a lot of heat and air. The management was very intent on selling me more things I had no intention on buying anything else until I saw the completed work. He had workers that were good, if they were allowed to be. The management was horrible.
