Service man was very nice and got the job done quickly and effectively.

After an initial scheduling of 6 days after deal purchase. They got someone out the next day thankfully. The time was to be between 2 and 6. I expected right at 6 but was pleasantly surprised when he arrived a little before 3. He fixed the problem and then stayed to check some things to make sure all was working well. Also received a discount because of being an Angie's List member.

They showed up earlier than expected. Lucky enough my wife was on her way home to meet the tech. At first he said we were 3 to 4 pounds low of coolant but when the a/c was turned on it was only 1 pound low. I was only able to talk to him over the phone and mentioned to him why we called and that he probably needed to go up in the attic to look at the unit up there. I'm still having the problem with low air flow coming out of the vents and the unit seems to be having a hard time keeping my upstairs cool.

I contacted Advanced Heating and Air to have my multiple air conditioning systems checked prior to summer. I made an appointment which was scheduled for the next week. On the day of scheduled service, I received a call informing me that the technicians were delayed on the previous job but would be able to come to my home an hour later than scheduled. The two technicians were Matt and Clark. They called me prior to arriving at my home to let me know that they were on their way. When they arrived, which was at the scheduled time, they greeted me and promptly went to work. They were very professional and took great care to keep me informed as to what they were doing and the status of the air conditioning equipment. All but one of the systems were found to be functioning properly. The one air conditioning system was leaking refrigerant. They gave me several options and the pros and cons of each option, and I subsequently decided to have the complete system replaced because it was 10 years old and other components were, more than likely, close to their expected service life. I was able to have the new furnace and air conditioning system installed the next day, Clark and Devin arrived promptly at 9:30 am and started the job. They worked through the day with only a 30 minute lunch break and finished at 7:00 that evening. They were very professional and very careful to insure that there was no damage done to the home. Additionally, they cleaned up all of the debris at the end of the day and insured that the system was working properly, even taking the time to coach me on how to operate the new programmable digital thermostat. I was very pleased with the service provided by Advanced Heating and Air and the quality of their technicians, and I would definitely recommend them to my friends.

The process was a mess from the very beginning. The contractor assigned to the case quit after the first visit. The company informed me they were no longer in this line of business. The Manager would not help solve any additional issues with the stovetop, even issues that their contractor brought to my attention. The Manager was extremely rude to me over the phone and literally put me on hold in the middle of a conversation. I do not recommend anyone working with this company for any issues (appliances, heating/air, etc.). They clearly lack an understanding of customer service.

After the service person preformed the pre-paid point inspection on our AC unit, he also found the reason why it was blowing warm air, hence replacing the thermastat.

Couldn't be happier with the service. Toilet is a very nice replacement for the very old toilet that was in the bathroom. Installer also fixed 2nd toilet -- though that's going to need to be completely replaced soon as well as it's also very old. Will happily use this company again.

I bought a $99 outdoor faucet big deal for this service. They came out and told me the faucet was a freeze-protection faucet and they needed to give me a different faucet, which they did and I agreed to, but then they charged me, instead of $99, they charged me $299 or something like that. It was probably about 10 minutes more work and maybe the faucet costs another $30, I guess. But, why they took a $99 faucet up to $299 was very surprising. To me it was just a loss leader; most people have freeze protected faucets. So they just put this big deal out there and I am sure this is a pretty common occurrence. From this provider. I mean, the tech was great, very good. It was just what the office place was so I have no complaints about the tech at all. He did a great job and was efficient. The service, itself, was good but the pricing was an F. The faucet is good. My schedule dictated when they came out to do the work. I probably won't use them again in the future for plumbing.

The company was very helpful in scheduling the service. The workers called me approximately 30 minutes prior to arriving, and completed the job neatly and professionally within 1 hour. I would definitely use this company again.

In late 2015, I contacted Advanced Heating and Air for a quote for attic insulation and air sealing. I found them on the TVA eScore site as a listed contractor. My initial appointment was canceled by Advanced, though I had stayed home from work that morning. Oh well, things happen. For the second scheduled appointment, I left work early (said they'd be there between 3 and 5pm), but they didn't show up until 6:30, after calling to see if I wanted to just do it some other time. The guy who came was friendly but not knowledgeable about the TVA eScore rebate requirements for air sealing and insulation. So he sent me the quote and said he'd look into it. After texting, emailing, and calling the company over the course of two months, I still never got an answer on what they would need to do for me to qualify for the TVA rebates. Instead, they said they'd have to have the TVA inspector come to my house to do another inspection. Upon contacting my TVA eScore representative, I found out this was not true - he indicated the specifications are available for the contractors and an inspection wasn't necessary. All that being said, I found Advanced to be extremely unresponsive, despite my multiple attempts to communicate with them to have work done on my house. For anyone else out there who doesn't want a similar hassle, I would recommend against using them.

Angie's List credited me with the purchase price which I applied to another similar service by a different provider.

I needed outside faucet to be repaired or replaced. The worker told me that repairs could not be done from the outside of the home. He needed to go thru interior wall to do repairs. I thought that was odd and told him, thanks but no thanks to his offer to do the repairs. I called another company, they repair my faucet by using a faucet repair kit. They did not have break thru a sheet rock wall, all repairs done from outside of the home. The cost was reasonable and took less then hour to repair.

In the process of setting up this appointment I talked to someone twice (maybe the same person, maybe not) at the office who seemed confused about what I was requesting. They said they were unfamiliar with the HVAC side of the business and usually dealt with the plumbing side. However, I explained in very straightforward terms that I had some small leaks in my HVAC ductwork that I wanted sealed. This does not seem to me to be an overly technical or specialized concept. The service person was originally scheduled to come between 8-noon, but I had not heard anything by 11:45 and called to see what to expect, since I had an early afternoon appointment elsewhere. I was told the service person was delayed on another job and we rescheduled for 2:30 or later (after my other appointment). The person on the phone then alerted me that the half-price Angie's List special for a service call (confirmed by the person who originally setup the appointment) would not apply to duct sealing, and starting talking about different package pricing for going through and sealing my whole system (hundreds of dollars). I explained that I just had a few small leaks and that I did not want anything that involved. Again, this seemed to be confusing to the person on the phone, but they agreed to let the original deal stand, depending on what the service person found. Ultimately, when the technician came out late that afternoon, he said the job had been assigned to him by mistake, as he works only on HVAC units and does not do duct work repairs. He had been confused by the job instructions he received from the office, but thought the best way to resolve things would be to come out and see what I needed firsthand. He was very courteous and professional and seemed knowledgeable, and he did not charge me for the visit. He said he would convey what was actually needed to the appropriate staff and I would get a call from the office to schedule the job. That never happened, and I did not bother calling them back again, as I expected to just encounter more confusion. And I have since taken care of the leaks on my own after watching some DIY videos. This company may have very competent field staff, but the office staff was not able to do something seemingly quite simple - direct my request for minor duct sealing to the proper service personnel. I ended up wasting almost an entire day waiting around for someone who couldn't do what I had asked for, and then there was no follow-up from the office. I would not risk repeating this experience by calling them again. I would have given them even lower ratings, but I tried to give some credit for the technician's courteousness.

I just wanted to post another review to say that we continue to use Advanced Heating and Air, and they have always been spot-on with diagnosing the problem and fixing it. We have a historic house with a couple of monster units; one electric, one gas. This most recent occasion, they diagnosed a high-pitched whine from the gas unit and replaced the draft inducer motor as a result (price quoted above includes the part). When I initially got a higher price quote from them, I called to ask about the price of the part, wondering why it was higher (some parts of our system are apparently non-standard). I wasn't looking for a price reduction, really just an explanation for my own information, but they immediately offered me a discount, which I thought was quite generous. I also was going to purchase their complete inspection, since the unit had not been serviced in some time, but the technician told me not to worry about that because he would leave it clean and inspected. Again, great service. Last winter, we had a problem with our attic unit rumbling horribly. Although we had to wait many weeks for the part (blower motor I believe, and again, our units are apparently not standard), their assessment fixed the problem and we had heat again. We have also used Advanced for our energy audit needs and they've been great with that.

They were professional and timely.

They completed the repairs, then dealt with other drain issues at no additional charged. They said the job was not done until everything was working the way it should.

The technician was very nice and told me that he couldn't do the job for the $49 on the deal purchased. He said it only included an installation that was threaded in and mine is sweat copper. He went under the house and looked at everything and gave me an estimate for much more than the $49 so I declined.

Our Service Tech, Brian, checked the propane line & the 6 burners; he found the middle burners making a popping sound. He said there wasn't enough air to keep the burners going. Once he detected the problem: a partially clogged exhaust pipe; he cleared the pipe & we had heat. Brian answered our questions & explained what he was doing, throughout his service call.

Service performed as requested. Upon discovery that AC compressor was bad, Advanced delivered options to replace compressor and to replace HVAC unit entirely. I would use again.
