Description of Work: Advanced Heating and Air made an initial diagnostic call (covered by an Angie's List special deal) to the residence premises to ascertain why the HVAC was not cooling. They found that the compressor was faulty and that it was still under warranty. They ordered the replacement unit and arranged to return to install it. The labor charges were not covered by the warranty.

Description of Work: Today I had maintenance service provided by Brian Cook of Advanced Heating and Air. Brian was a very professional, pleasant, and efficient service provider. He explained that my air unit could not be accurately tested while the weather was cool this morning and then suggested that I do the heat pump maintenance before I needed the heat. I purchased the yearly maintenance package from Brian and look forward to have a repair done on my heat pump. I hope Brian is the service repairman you send out!

Description of Work: Two appointments were scheduled. On the first, 9/5/2014, they never showed up or called. When I called them after waiting all morning, they said they had an equipment problem and were sorry that no one called me. So, we scheduled a second time for 9/12/2014. I explained that they needed to be finished by noon because we had another appointment. I was told that the driver would call before they arrived and that I would be the first customer that day to make sure the work was completed by noon. Late this morning, the driver called telling me he was an hour away. They could not even arrive by noon. So, I cancelled because they were not reliable.

Description of Work: I purchased a deal for $79 for an a/c inspection and tune-up + free air duct inspection. They were flexible when I called them to see if they could work directly with my property management.

Description of Work: He spent nearly 30 minutes reviewing the operation of my air conditioner, gave it a complete blessing as is, and left. He arrived on time, he was courteous and friendly, and I intend to invite Advanced Heating and Air to check my heater and air-conditioner next year. |

Description of Work: They did a very through inspection and servicing and installed a mildew inhibitor. Serviceman really did a fine job of cleaning the exterior unit. Arrived on schedule. I really like this company and the integrity of the owner.

Description of Work: I responded to the Angie's List "Deal," whereby a contractor would perform an AC inspection for $59.00. The contractor had to postpone the appointment, but called a day in advance to let us know. The serviceman came promptly at the rescheduled time. We have had no maintenance issues with our AC since the service.

Sold me the heating and air conditioning units with a higher energy rating than what they actually put in plus put in a smaller blower than what the company owner originally said I needed, but didn't reduce the price. |When I asked about the discount mentioned on the site, the owner said he couldn't give it to me because it would be too much money that he would loose on such a large purchase. |For the first 24 hours during what was an exceedingly cold winter just before Christmas, it didn't work at all because it was wired wrong. Then my heating bill actually went up. Every time the heater came on, I was uncomfortably cold. He said I needed to give it time for me to adjust to it. After about some weeks, I insisted they return. The blower was set wrong. | At the free annual service, the service man didn't change the filter nor had he even brought one with him.
