We needed some additional outlets installed as part of a remodel of our lobby. After calling several other (highly rated) electricians - who all wanted to charge to come and give an estimate) I called A1. Mike and Michelle showed up when they said they would, gave us an estimate, completed the work promptly and professionally, and they are just plain great people to do business with! They did the work during the day while we were open for business, but with minimal disruption to our business and customers. They cut holes in the walls, ran the wiring, and installed the outlets with no power outages to any other systems, they cleaned up after themselves (no mess for us!) and it looks great! Michael responded to my call immediately and was on my premise within 2 hours of my initial call to him. Not only did he attend to the specific electrical needs I mentioned, he also checked the wiring on my hot water heater and now for the first time in 4 days and several calls to other local electricians, I have hot water. I contacted Mr. Ivester on Friday afternoon. He responded very quickly through Angie's List to let me know he would call me Monday. He called Monday and was able to meet me in 20 minutes to do the work. He and Alex went straight to work repairing and replacing outlets. Within an hour all of the work was done and done well. They went above and beyond and fixed things that were not on my list at no extra charge and double checked that everything was in working order. The final price of the work was even less than the estimate. I was very impressed with this electrician. We be calling A1 for our future electrical needs! Thank you!

It took a few visits to fix the problem entirely, but they never issued a charge for coming back out. They fixed the issue which turned out to be a faulted partially melted breaker in an old old breaker box on the side of the house. They were courteous, kind and amazing to work with. I am moving back to Ohio and wish I could find someone like them there. We will see, but probably not.

One of our detectors would not quit beeping, even with resetting the unit, changing and removing the battery, etc. It was the week before Christmas. A1 came out to fix that detector, even though he was booked solid that week. He said he would follow up with an appointment for the rest sometime after January 8, 2015, and he did. I didn't have to prompt him; he called me. I appreciated that he did not forget the job.

They showed up on time, completed the work in a timely manner and were great to work with. They did push through the ceiling of the garage in one spot but came back to repair it. Overall they did a good job.

We talked on the phone about what I was looking for. The electrician came out to the house once but I was not home. I just never got the chance to follow up with the electrician and I never got any kind of work done. I had no problem getting in touch with the company. I still have the same electrical issue and would like for the work to be completed.

Everything went great. Although they did forget to install the bathroom fan/vent hose that leads to the soffit on downstairs 1/2 bath. No, worries. The work they did in the rest of the house made up for it.

I used them for the 2nd time. I think they did good quality work. Two electricians came out. I thought they were competent, reasonably priced and provided a good quality service. I paid for new lighting fixtures. I paid an extra $33.00 and they even brought the light bulbs.

They contacted me quickly, arranged appointment and were right on time. Work was done quickly and guys were professional and friendly.

A two man team showed up for install. One seemed like the more experienced electrician and one was more of an educated apprentice. Original deal was for 2 hours of professional labor, however since it was a two man team this resulted in one hour total. Overall project was satisfactory, they completed just what I asked in around 2 hours. Clean up was not very thorough, I ended up having to patch and re-paint myself which was unexpected. Overall I was pleased with their service.

Showed up on time and were extremely personable - they even took efforts to be quiet while my triplets slept for their nap. They cleaned up after themselves, explained what they were doing along the way, and were extremely helpful. They put in an exhaust fan in our bathroom where one did not exist and replaced 2 grounded plugs that weren't grounded. We will use them again!

I initially called because I bought a new stove and realized the old wiring would likely not support it. I initially bought this Angie's List coupon thinking they could just get right out here. They were not available as immediately as I needed but -- have no fear! A house built in the early 70s always has electrical needs! So... (I am horrible with names, sorry!!) But the husband and wife pair arrived right on time. They were very polite and courteous. I was in luck because there was an outlet in my foyer exactly where I wanted one to be on the outside. So that was quick. The back deck outlet, though, was very deteriorated. They did a lot of work on that one! I guess we went over by a half hour (which I thought I'd had a $100 for 2hrs but guess I was wrong) because I owed them $55 for the extra time. Overall, though, they were funny and affable while they were here. And now my husband can light up our house like Chevy Chase with his new outlets!
