Jason was so personable and courteous even to let me know by calling a few hours before to let me know the approximate time he would arrive. I so appreciate that! They did a great job and gave me good advice and information. I will definitely recommend them for doing professional and quality work.

All 4 trees were down and everything cleaned up within 4 hours, with quoted cost less than other tree services...... Jason was very accommodating, rearranging his schedule to do the work two weeks earlier than he had thought he would be able to....... very satisfied.

Jason was on time, on the mark and a pleasure to work with. His work ethic and knowledge of his trade is not often found anymore. His is one who I believe wants a customer who is satisfied and does what he can to see that is the case. I highly recommend him!!!

Jason was great. He came out in a timely manner to give us the estimate and was able to come and do the work the day after we agreed to it. Great working with him and he left everything very clean after he was done. We'll be calling him again in the future.

The work was perfect. It was done quickly, did exactly what I asked. Cleanup was such you couldn't even tell they were there.

Jason and his crew did a wonderful job. He was quick to respond to my message and kept me up to date on his schedule to complete the job. We had built our flower beds, and had them 95% completed, but he finished them at our request. Jason asked where we got the blocks, the name of them, and had pictures, so he could be certain to get the right supplies and make it look seamless. He arrived on time, and ready to work. His crew was professional, friendly, and truly earned every penny we paid. Most importantly, Jason stayed true to his quote. I had gotten A Cut Above Lawn and Landscaping's recommendation here on Angie's list, read the reviews and decided to give them a call. Jason returned my call promptly and was available to come for a free estimate very quickly. When Jason arrived, he assessed the situations concerning both trees and gave me what I felt was both a reasonable estimate, and reasonable amount of time it would take them to do the job. Needless to say an arrangement was made that I would contact him the following week (at my request) to set up an appointment to have the work done. I contacted Jason a week later and a date was scheduled for he and his crew to come and do the work we had talked about. As it turned out he contacted me to advise me that he had come upon a situation that needed to be completed (as I'm sure would be very common in his type of business) and asked me if he could come the day after originally scheduled. I had no problem with that at all and as promised, he and his crew showed up promptly on the rescheduled date and time. (Which was really only the day after the original appt.) Upon arrival, he and his crew re-assessed the situation and what they needed to do and got right to work. Part way through Jason discussed with me that one of the things he originally thought he would be able to do was too dangerous to both him and the surroundings and it would require a bucket truck which he did not have available to him. He was very apologetic. We talked about all of the options and he even recommend someone that might be able to complete the job! I was extremely impressed, because he was not only up front about the situation, but also genuinely apologetic AND recommended another company that might be able to help. The crew finished the job almost to the minute of the time he said it would take, chipped all of the small branches that had to be taken out, loaded the pieces of large limbs that had to be removed, raked up the remaining pieces onto a tarp for removal, and used a blower to clean off the small patio out back and even parts of the yard that had what they thought to be excessive amounts of sawdust. Who does that anymore? They left my yard almost cleaner than they found it! In addition, he charged me less than the original estimate, because he said he felt bad for not being able to do the one section. Would I use them again? Without question! (As a matter of fact, I have made arrangements to call him in the near future to do more work for me.) Would I recommend them? Without question! Honest, kind, prompt, capable workers....hard to find anymore, but these guys fit the bill!!

Jason and his crew were on the job exactly when they said they would be and worked non-stop for 4 hours to complete the job. Jason, methodically climbed the tree, removing each limb as he went up, tying off each branch to direct it's fall from below. Four other men assisted him from the ground not only making sure each branch came down where they wanted it to, but cutting the branches into small pieces for removal. The job was completed to our satisfaction and given the amount of time and danger involved we felt the price was completely appropriate.

Jason was fantastic. He took down a huge pine tree in my yard and trimmed several trees in the front. He was the best contractor I have ever used as far as his professionalism, timelines in contacting me, keeping me updated during the job, adhering to the highest safety standards, and follow through with making sure everything exceeded my expectations. Do not waste your time getting quotes from other services. Jason at A Cut Above is your man and I will definitely use him again.

My wife and i were leaving town for a wedding and would be gone long enough the lawn would have been a very long and difficult mowing if we waited until our return. I looked on Angie's List and found A Cut Above Lawn and Landscaping with the highest rating. I left a message for someone to call me back on a specific day. Jason (the owner) returned my call on the day requested. He was willing to handle our lawn while we were gone even though it was slightly outside of his work region. Our subsequent communications were handled by text. I was impressed with his quick responses to my texts. Since he had not seen our 1.25 acre lot, he was unable to quote me a price. He said he would take care of the job and let me know what I owed him afterward. He also let me know when the job was completed even though we were still out of town. I felt the price was worth it especially when we arrived home. The yard was immaculate and the trimming was thorough. I highly recommend Jason's company and will use it in the future whenever we are out of town for too long a period for the lawn to wait.

Jason was unbelievably good. He was prompt in calling me back from the time he came for the initial meeting through the time he completed the job. It's rare these days to find a service that follows through on everything but he did just that. His honesty, integrity, professionalism and attention to detail were above and beyond any contractor I have ever used. Plus he was extremely knowledgable in advising me on how to safely perform the work. Do not waste time talking to the other tree services. Jason at A Cut Above is your man!!!

In setting up the services, we were provided an estimated time frame of when they could get to us. A few days before they were ready to come out, they called us to make sure the day and start time were okay. They arrived when they said they would and got straight to work. Four employees came out to take on our backyard. They were all professional and worked hard to get the job done. They chipped up what they could and hauled away everything. They even asked us if we wanted any of it for firewood and when we said yes, they cut it into fireplace-size pieces and stacked it up so that all that needed to be done was split it. Once they got everything down, they raked and blowed our lawn mostly clean of the debris. I was rather impressed that they were able to remove all those trees in about 5 hours, especially since they had to top-down three of them. We will definitely work with them in the future for other landscaping needs.

This company was very professional, clean, polite and kind. I would recommend they whole heartily to anyone.

First off, I can't say enough about how professional Jason was throughout the process. He came out to our house a few times to help us decide the best course of action for planting border trees. We had extensive roots from old trees, that Jason had to work around. His team showed up on time, stayed until the job was completed, and cleaned up afterwards. My husband and I will definitely use Jason for future jobs and HIGHLY recommend him to others. Jason quoted us one price in October for the trees, but he was able to find the trees cheaper elsewhere, and saved us $500-600. Thank you, Jason!

I first contacted A Cut Above Lawn and Landscaping in April of 2015. Jason came right over and looked over my yard. We agreed on a price and he immediately cut my lawn, which was totally unexpected as I assumed that he would put me on his schedule and mow the lawn later. The first mowing was complicated as no one had mowed the lawn yet that spring. He and his workers have always done a very satisfactory job. I would highly recommend his service to anyone looking for lawn care.

We are so excited to have Jason and his crew taking care of our lawn needs. We looked for a year for someone who takes pride in their work and follow through on their work! Jason and his helper arrived on time and immediately began working. They trimmed tree limbs off of the garage and cut back all, of the landscaping from around the house. They did the work in a professional and efficient manner and did a good job of cleaning up and hauling off all of the clippings. All of this at a fair price, I would be happy to use their services again.

Jason and his team were awesome! They got here in the morning and literally worked until it was dark to finish the project. I couldn't believe they were able to do it in one day. He was very good with communication and was patient with me as I sometimes struggle to return calls in a timely fashion. The finished product exceeded my expectations!

So very professional and did a great job cutting down very difficult limbs. Limbs were hanging over electric lines and they were able to get them down and clean everything up. I would highly recommend.

Mr. Storts came right on time and did a great job. He removed a tree that had overgrown its space, arranged to have the stump ground right while he was there, and removed a large evergreen hedge. He also cleaned up everything and as an extra nice gesture, blew all the leaves out of my garage while he was cleaning up the work area. I would highly recommend A Cut Above Lawn and Landscaping and plan to use the company again in a few months for other work.
