Description of Work: They performed a home inspection on behalf of the home buyer. Tommy was early to arrive and completed the inspection even though there was bad inclement weather. He was very thorough, was very patient, and detailed in the report. He was honest and professional.

Description of Work: I was so impressed first choice home inspections. We were in a pinch and needed an inspection within 4 days or we would've lost our new home. They came out on a Saturday Memorial Day weekend. Showed up early to start and was very helpful. My son is asthmatic and extremely allergic to mold so the mold testing was a must. And compared to other companies prices for the same testing were awesome. Not only did we save money we won out with exceptional service.

 + -1 more1st Choice Home Inspector Tommy Kirby was very prompt for the appointment. Did a great job finding issues needing attention, such as the saturated crawl space that had water penetrating the block from somewhere. Tommy recommended that the issue we professionally addressed by a certified waterproofing company. This turned out to be a bigger problem than expected, and finding this issue before we bought the house saved me over $8K. Thanks Tommy for the detailed report.

 + -1 moreTommy was very thorough with the inspection of the house we were interested in purchasing. He pointed out key areas of concern which required fixing with photos for us to view so less accessible items clear to us. He came back to the house at our request over the weekend to set up the radon level reading equipment and was very flexible with his availability to set this up. The radon levels were fine, but it was good to have these monitored due to high levels in some homes in the Knoxville area. We would definitely recommend Tommy to anyone needing a home and radon inspection.

 + -1 moreTommy was VERY thorough and EXTREMELY nice. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone buying a home. There was a problem with one of the repairs the seller's contractor performed (a repair that was recommended by Tommy), and Tommy even offered to come back and fix the problem himself at no charge. He is great at his job and a great and honest person.
