'58 Foundations & Waterproofing

I got three estimates and ‘58 Foundation was by far the best. They explained all my options and worked within my budget. I needed foundation repair in specific areas under a load bearing wall and around my front door. They showed up on time. The foreman, Cam, kept me informed on the process. He along with the crewmen, Jordan and Keylin were courteous and professional and left the work area even cleaner than they found it. My house is over 100 yrs old and when I walk around now, the floors feel very solid.

Excellent people to work with. It was a difficult job from start to finish. The crew was very hard working and professional. They did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend.

Quick and efficient job. I interviewed 5 different companies in my area to stabilize and level the floor above our crawl space. '58 Foundations was not the cheapest and they were not the most expensive. They were chosen because they went above and beyond my expectations when I was actively looking for a solution to my problem of sagging joists. The initial estimator Bill S. took his time to make sure all our questions and concerns were addressed and DID NOT use high pressure techniques to try to get our business. Finally, when the job started Zeke the foreman and his assistant Andrew arrived on time each day and kept me updated with the status of the job in a timely manner, I most highly recommend you use this company when you have issues with your floors and crawlspaces.

5 star company,above the board. All A's across the board. Steve Price is a very knowledgeable guy he will take his time to tell you exactly what he will and do just that.

Very good. 3 men arrived on time and completed job in 1 day. They cleaned up the inside floor when they had completed the job.

My basement waterproofing system was installed but they damaged my new stained concrete floor so badly that it has to be redone. I requested BDry to pay to rectify the damaged floor caused by their negligence and they have delayed adequate compensation to the point that I have now had to file a lawsuit to recoup damages. This has delayed my family being able to use our basement for months.

They brought out these huge fans. It took several days, but all was reported dry when done.

Overall it went well. D-Dry had a good price, the consultant for B-Dry was very knowledgable, punctual, and professional. He was also a licensed electrician. The team who did the work was the same - punctual, professional, hard working, and did an excellent job with the french drain and pump. However the drain pipe exit route was straight across the ceiling instead of following all other lines ducts and pipes. It looks very out of place. Also the water exit pipe was too close to the house installed too close to the house. In addition they had no idea that the consultant said he would wire a new outlet for the pump. The consultant came back the next day to do the work. Again the routing (due to the lack of wire he had with him) for the outlet made a straight line to the fuse box cutting across all other electrical lines. It looked bad and I re-did all of his work. Overall I am satisfied with B-Dry and its hard working employees and would hire them again if I had a need. I would try to keep a closer eye on the work details though.

This company refuses to give me a free estimate without the homeowner present. Even though the listing agent is the legal representative of the owner, nope. I would have to pay $99 to get an estimate, since the owner of this home is in a nursing home. This shows a fundamental ignorance of the real estate process, or a cynical insistence on maximizing every penny. Since every other foundation repair company I have called is happy to give me a free estimate for what will probably be an expensive repair, there's no way i would use B-Dry.

Awesome job. Would recommend B-dry if you need waterproofing your basement.

It was time consuming and expensive. The problem still exists, but it's under a huge blue plastic bubble now. And we have constant noise from the fan they said would be silent.

It went smoothly and timely. The work eliminated the basement water issue They installed an interior basement trench to collect ground water, which was directed to a sump.

It was so expensive, but otherwise, it was fine. They were prompt, it was quick, and done well. They were fine, it looks good and it works. I would recommend them.

The strip that they put down around the wall in the basement to collect the water,?developed cracks on both sides. No one would tell me what the cracks was for. I complained, no one would come out to see or check it out. I called them again for a quote on doing other work. I asked the guy that came out about the cracks and he said that he did not know why there?were cracks.? He said that the district manager is in town, and that he would report it to him and it would be taken care of.? I scheduled that 3 weeks after the guys were finished with my basement. The man came out by himself, and stated that they had a small section to replace. I informed him that the crack goes full length to my basement. He dug a few holes, made phone calls, and got a few men to help him. The original crew had never put the drain level. It was holding water which would create mold and toxic around the whole basement. They did come back to replace it.

I was very pleased with the professionalism shown by the crew that performed the work over three days. They were on time and provided explanations of the work every step of the way. It was an expensive project, but I felt very secure in the quality of the work and that the problem had been remedied.

Very professional and kind. Cheaper than some of my other quotes. But right away before he even looked at my crawlspace he was talking about having French drains installed. Told me that I had a water intrusion problem. I've had 4 estimates and no one else said this.

I hired them for air quality issues coming from my crawlspace. The salesman recommendation a drainage ditch and sump pump then encapsulation. When asked about removing the mold which MasterDry was going to blast off of my wood joints, he said they do something even better. They would spray something that kills the mold and prevents it from coming back. This did not work. I just had a mold specialist come inspect and I still have mold in my crawlspace and it is coming through the air we are breathing. Also, they installed the Healthy Blue Canyon system two months ago but still have not sent an electrician to hook it up. My air quality and allergies are worse now than when I hired B-Dry. I called the company to report it and ask someone to come out and inspect and address my issues but no one has come out. I think the crew did a good job on the drainage ditch and sump pump but they did not solve my initial concern with the air quality, which was the reason I called them.

The process went very smoothly at all points, and I was very satisfied with the finished product.

Very professional group. Seth and his work partner came in and got right to work digging trenches around the foundation and jack hammering our basement floor for drainage pipes to be put in and encapsulating our crawl space walls and floor. The work was so clean and professionally done. After they jackhammered the floors on the interior basement walls, they put rock and special drainage pipes leading to a sump pump. When they were done with the pipes and had reconcreted the floor, they put a special encapsulation up the walls to ground level. It looks amazing. We couldn't be more pleased with the workmanship. At the end, they tested the system with us to show us how it all worked and what we could expect from the pump system.

I had a small crack in the brick from under a window to the foundation that was evaluated as cosmetic and not structural. B-Dry came and injected the crack with a special epoxy to prevent further cracking and to ensure there would be no moisture intrusion. Product was as advertised and installer was very professional and explained everything in detail to me. Only complaint was there were slow to provide me with a writeup and paid receipt for the repair.

It was excellent. I spent about $5000. The foundation had issues settling. We've used them before so we were familiar with them, they were prompt, did what they said they would do and they showed up when they said they would. They also provided us with an ongoing warranty that's transferable .

The service turned out just fine. I spent about $12000. I would say they were good and their results held up well. I had some questions and I had some problems with the way they put the tarp down and they sent their supervisor out to re install it, so it seems like it's in good shape now.

The house has not sunk yet, so I guess from what I can see it was good. They showed up on time and the boss was in good control of the people. They worked very efficiently. The only problem we had was really not their problem. Their machine broke down and it sat there for a couple of weeks. I just felt that they knew what they were doing and did a very good job.
