 + 4 moreReplaced shingle roof and installed rubber roof to sun room, replaced gutters, replaced some window glass and screen, put siding on sunroon ( that looks good except some of it blew off in a recent storm), added screens on patio, refinished stain on deck; repoured some concrete. The concrete looks good but they poured left over concrete at end of driveway in grass and also in a flower bed. They had to take down an existing small wooden fence to do the work and then put it back together crooked. Wanted to charge $300 to fix the fence and I refused to pay him anymore. . I have called him numerous times over the past year and he has said he sent the subcontractor out to fix the roof, but it has never been fixed. The contractor did come in July, 2013 along with a representative of the subcontractor to fix the roof, but it continues to leak. He said the problem with the hole in the roof over the house was due to no facia board and not part of the roofing project. The problem did not exist before the new roofing was done and you can see that one corner of the roof appears too high and does not appear to connect to the rest of the roof. I can easily see outdoors in that corner when I go into the attic.
Description of Work: Put in wrong gutters initially , although did replace these, but only after he told me they were the 6 inch gutters we had agreed upon. I measured them and the first gutters were 4 inch gutters so when I told him this, he did replace the gutters. I continue to have roof problems (leaks and also a gaping hole at one corner of roof , did not appear to use same quality of materials for replacement of roof and did not explain the difference). Did not honor warranty- did send roofing subcontractor who never fixed the problem. The contractor does not respond to my most recent phone call at this time. The one year warranty is up but the problems were never fixed during the year of the warranty. Since it hardly rained in 2012, it took a while for me to discover the leak, and I had already paid him for the work when I discovered the leak. I am currently working with someone else at this time to get these problems fixed.
