Gary is just the kind of electrician I was looking for. He is an owner/operator, knows his business, is very professional, courteous and easy to talk to. He responded to my phone call immediately, called before he came over and was very punctual. We are very happy with Gary's work and definitely will request his services again when needed. Need an electrician, just call Gary Wade.

He was very good. He couldn't finish the job because it took two people to do the wiring so he referred me to somebody else to finish the work. I would give him a very good recommendation. He spent a couple of hours of his time and didn't charge me anything. I would definitely use him again.

I found Gary Wade on Angie's List and called because he seemed honest and fair from all the reviews. Gary met all of my expectations and more and I would recommend him to anyone that needs electric work completed. We have a home that needed a great deal of work, and we had an electrician that had started work already. The previous electrician could not figure out why lights did not work that were working before he started so that raised a red flag that we needed to change guys. Gary told me exactly what he needed to do, set expectations, and was always on time. I will have him back in a few weeks to to hang all the lights and finish the work once we have the drywall up. He also did our cable and telephone, and honestly I could not have asked for more. Gary was great!

Arrived on time. Worked non-stop without a break from 8:15 AM to 2 PM which included time to obtain ladder from rental agency and to return to rental agency. Cleaned up after himself.

I was very happy with Gary's work and his service and will contact him again with any new electrical work I need in my home.

I contacted Mr. Wade regarding electrical needs for a basement remodel. He came to my home and we discussed the work I wanted done. Mr. Wade provided an acceptable estimate and a work date was scheduled. On the work date Mr Wade arrived at my home. He had many reasons why he was apprehensive to work on an older house (80 yrs) and he wanted a release signed so he would not be responsible if there were electrical problems or a house fire. I became concerned about the quality of his work and I was concerned his work had caused a fire previously. I cancelled Mr. Wade and hired another contractor. Also my house had not aged from the estimate to work date. I was very disappointed with Mr. Wade and his lack of professionalism.

He was good and efficient. He took time to make sure we understood what he was doing. He seemed to care about what he was doing. We would definitely use him in the future.

I called Mr. Wade after finding him on Angie's and reading the MANY recommendations. He called me back the next morning (Fri) and set an 9AM appt for Monday. He called at 8:30AM to say that school zones etc were slowing him down, that he'd be 30 mins late. He arrived at 9:15AM - actually only 15 mins late! I like that, He sewt to work after making some recommendations and finished in 30-40 mins.

Gary is very professional and responsive. He took slightly longer than I expected, however he had not seen the situation before he got here and did the work that day. He also had to climb under the house in order to redirect the cable wiring. Work was done perfectly and everything looks great.

He was quick to call us back. Gave us a price and did the job immediatly.

I originally contacted Gary Wade based on the ratings he had on Angie's List and he certainly lived up to the praise he had been given by others. By his own admission, he may not offer the absolute cheapest price around...but he does high quality work in an extremely professional manner and the work & service I got was worth every penny I paid, and more. He arrived to survey my project and give me an estimate at a time that was convienient for me so that I wasn't late getting to work and returned a written estimate to me very quickly, I think less than 24 hours. When he came to my home to do the work, he arrived promptly exactly at the time he told me he would. He got right to work and performed the installation of my sump line and all the other repairs exactly as I had requested. In addition to doing the work I was paying him to do, I had also mentioned a couple other electrical items that I was trying to fix myself and was having difficulty figuring out. Not only did Gary help me decide what to do on those things, he actually fixed one of them himself (light wouldn't come on in my range hood) and didn't charge me a cent extra to do it! Hire this guy to do your electrical work, you won't be sorry.

Excellent, and I don't impress easily. Master craftsman, total professional. Prompt and detailed estimate, timely and meticulous workmanship. Mature, great expertise and knowledge, complete tools, equipment, parts, all to code, etc. And very, very nice. Got the job done perfectly, quickly, meticulously, was able to start as soon as I accepted proposal, and left everything immaculate. Couldn't ask for better. I found out that I needed to have this work done by the next day to accommodate installation of a new U-verse internet+digital TV package. I called garywade (due to his Angie's List references) first thing in the morning, and reached Gary personally, not a machine or receptionist. He said he could work me in at the end of the day, which was fine. He called back later because of a no-show by an earlier customer and said he could come sooner. When he arrived, he explained his hourly charge and said that he could perform additional chores within that hour if I had any, since I would have to pay for 1 hour minimum and the outlets wouldn't take very long. So I prioritized some additional outlets that were also ungrounded. One of the outlets turned out to have other problems in the wiring that took longer to remedy, so we ended up just having one additional outlet replaced before his hour was up. Having read in other Angies List reviews what people were charged for small jobs like this by other companies, I thought Gary's price was a bargain. I will be calling him back to replace the rest of the ungrounded outlets in my house. I would definitely recommend him to others.

He was excellent. He is honest about what he can and cannot do. Extremely punctual and cleans up after himself.

I think that he did fine. He showed when he was suppose to and did what he was suppose to. I got what I needed and he may be coming back out and doing some more work. He is a nice guy, I would recommend him to others.

Gary Wade is a commercial grade electrician. I needed residential.

Mr. Wade was very prompt in returning my call to come to give me the estimate and scheduled a date and time to come to do the work. He was prompt and worked efficiently and left every thing clean where he had worked.

Everything went very well. Gary was quick and professional.

Gary was very professional and did a great job on installing my new outlet. He came when he said he would and was very nice. I thought his price was a little high but it was worth it. I recommend him for service.
