 + -1 moreNot well after they came and measured. We are still waiting on the estimate. Called 2x and were told that the man was there and would get on it. Still waiting 3 months later. We gave up until next spring.

 + -1 moreBEWARE! Entire fence installed 2 years ago for $6000. After Helene damage, they want over $13,000 to fix one side. They admit that they are purposely price gouging because the insurance companies and FEMA are "giving out all kinds of money". My insurance is part of the National Flood Insurance program (only covers dwelling, specifically excludes fences). FEMA is NOT "giving out all kinds of money". These scammers are admittedly taking advantage of flood victims. I've sent my original estimate from 2 years ago and my estimate from yesterday to the TN Attorney General's Office so they can be held accountable.

 + -1 moreBest fence company in the Tri-Cities. Very professional. Installed fence exactly as requested. Pulled up existing vertical posts and reused holes (only company that I got estimates from who were willing to do this).......which helped to keep boundaries the same and miss underground utilities. They have a machine that pulled up posts and hauled old fence out and new fence supplies in without damage to yard. They even loaned me a kennel to help with my 2 large dogs while fence was being installed.
Description of Work: Removed and hauled away existing wood fence. Installed new picket fence.

 + -1 moreIt took Tri City Fence a week to return my call. Then, I had to wait another week for someone to come to my place to take measurements to prepare the estimate. After waiting several weeks for the estimate, I called and was told the estimate had not been prepared yet. No apology was given. I requested that the estimate be faxed to me. I have still not received the estimate.

Description of Work: Signed the contract for the fence 4/16 and was aware there would be a 3week delay due to backlog. The posts were not placed until 5/17 and they were in the wrong place. I was told they would be back in a week to run the fence, but it was over a month before they returned. The fence was not flush to ground and gates did not have secure latches which I stressed were essential to prevent my dogs from escaping. The workers spent most of their time in their truck on break! I had to contact the company AGAIN to have them return to hang the gates. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

 + -1 moreThe finished product is terrific and very well done. There were some problems with communication between the salesman and the crew, and changes had to be made twice which caused the job to be delayed. I would use them again if no one else is available.

 + -1 moreWhen I called Tri-City Fence Company saying I was interested in getting a quote, the representative gladly gave me a day and time he would come out to the home. On that day he was punctual. He measured the space, drew the diagrams, and presented me with several options to choose. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost. We signed an agreement. Within days the crew came and tore down the old fence and hauled it away. By the second week, the new fence has been installed. The work done is superb. The men were professional, polite.
Description of Work: The work performed was: (1) Removal of an old wooden fence and haul away. (2) The installation of chain link fence around residence.

We have had a few minor problems over the years with some sloppy work on two posts out of a half acre fenced in area. Overall very good and I would use them again. Solid B+ in my book and the price was right.

I will offer only a small area for improvement, they did not call before coming out to begin work and at the end they left some small dirt piles in my yard. Overall, however, it was a good experience.

 + -1 moreI feel the owner wants to do a good job and I also know how hard it is to find people to work that take pride in the work and can work without supervision. I run a business also.
Description of Work: The owner of the business was very courteous and responsive. The quality of the work that the two men who installed the fence did not take a lot of pride in their work. I had to call them back once to correct something and they responded quickly but I still have a gate that I am going to have to have fixed before it ruins the post that it latches on. It still is not hung correctly. To be fair, we've had a lot of illness and have not called them to see what can be done because the weather this winter has been too bad. I'd probably try to use them again but I'd keep a closer watch on their work so things could be corrected immediately.

 + -1 morethere was a mis-communication between the person who did the measuring and the people who installed the fence. one section of fence is in the wrong place! also, we weren't told in advance that the concrete needs to set for 3 days, and that put our project behind schedule. the owner himself came out and finished it on saturday so it wouldn't add 2 more days to the project because of the weekend.
Description of Work: fabricate & install a chain-link fence around a large yard. we got the brown vinyl-covered fence & it blends in with the landscape very well.

 + -1 moreI wasn't impressed with the way they handled my request for someone to come out and look at the gates. I wanted them re-adjusted. They never came back after they got their money.
Description of Work: Fenced in back yard with white pvc fencing. They were the only company I could find that could do the fencing on a sloped yard. They did a good job except for the gates. I was not happy with the gates and called them on several occasions. They told me that there was nothing they could do. I had to get out in the yard and dig around the gates to level it so they dog couldn't get out.

 + -1 moreOverall, it was one of the smoothest transactions I've ever encountered.
Description of Work: I called two separate fencing companies to get estimates. Tri-City Fence by far gave the best price (almost half the estimate of the other company). The crew first came and concreted the posts into the ground. About a week later, they returned to put the fence in. Apparently they like to let the concrete set well before adding the fence, which sounds like a good idea to me. They finished the fence in one day and it is beautiful. Now Larry, the lead guy, likes to be perfect in design, I mean things have to measure up. I have had to call them back about my gate, it is not straight on top (he's laying with the land). But Darrin says he'll be back to correct that and I believe him. They are great people to work with.
