 + -1 moreAlthough it is possible that something technical happened, I sent a message to them 11 weeks ago and NEVER got a response, not even a message to say that they'd received my message. Even if they didn't respond because they don't do that kind of work, a simple response saying so would have been nice.
Description of Work: We needed to have a 16'x20' deck replaced and sent a message on Aug 5, 2016 to see if we could get a quote.

 + 0 moreThe project went extremely well. Of course tearing down a deck and adding a covered porch got more complicated than it sounds. There were a lot of problems to be solved and they always came up with excellent solutions. Sometimes those solutions took them longer than the orginal plan, but when the job was finished, there were no surprises in the charges. They only added costs for things we added beyond the original plan. These guys worked hard. They are perfectionists and stayed with the job until it was done to their exacting standards. All of our neighbors say they can't believe what a wonderful job they did and how well the new addition blends in with the house. The workers were courteous and bent over backwards to stay out of our way while doing their jobs. We are sincerely grateful that we chose Southerland Construction for this project.
Description of Work: Southerland Construction and Renovation tore down an old and failing second story deck and built a new much larger deck and added a roof over the deck. They used top quality materials, including fiberglass columns to support the new roof, and aluminum railings. They designed the whole project from just a basic concept we had and provided drawings for us to see how it would look.
