I found our landscape especially around our pond had deteriorated to the point I was totally embarrassed. This was a crisis for me especially when my wife scheduled a 4th of July outdoor party for friends. I tried cleaning the pond pump but messed it up to where it did not even work at all. I called PlantBoy on Saturday in desparation telling them of my dilemma. We had one week to get the pond and backyard in good shape for the party. Steve, the landscape manager, showed up on Monday morning to assess the situation. He had his pond man out there and other workers on the job Tuesday morning. They worked about 2 1/2 days getting the job done. They were very prompt and did what they said they would do. My wife noticed the quality of the workers were the best she has ever seen. They were polite, respectful, responsive and pleasant to talk to. They seemed happy with their work. They cleaned up after themselves. I was satisfied with their work. I am currently making arrangements with PlantBoy for a monthly or every 2-3 week pond and flower bed maintenance agreement ongoing. I really appreciated the fact they did not try to sell me more than i wanted to do on the yard at one time. Most landscape companies I have delt with in the past want to shame you into doing a major overhaul landscape project (very $$$) and press for a comprehensive all inclusive expensive monthly yard maintenance agreement. I have several focal landscape projects in my yard and they seemed more than willing to work with me over a period of time to complete them. They do not seem irritated or chapped that I want continue to use my long-term lawn mower man who needs the work and does a great job.
