Description of Work: A/C on our 10 year old Hyundai went out and a shop in Knoxville said there was no way to fix it without replacing "the entire system," to the tune of $1,400. Nard's found the problem and fixed it for a little over $300. They have a great reputation for a reason. Definitely will go there again.

 + -1 moreI arrived at Nards and was helped right away. I was asked about my problem and after telling about the issues I was having,was told it would be just a minute. Even though they appeared to be busy,it wasn't long until I had an answer. I wasn't happy with the answer because it is going to cost a little bit more than I would have liked but I believe the estimate was accurate for what is wrong with my car. The mechanic helped me out with how to use my car until I could find the money to fix it. .I was happy with them all around. They were respectful and pleasant and knowledgeable and I will use them when the time comes to fix the car.

Description of Work: Had diagnostics, major tune up with coil replacement,tail light changed, and evaluation of failed door lock. Called Monday afternoon, brought car in on Tuesday, and by Tuesday afternoon had my car back in great shape.

 + -1 moreBeing as we only have two cars and have to work around work schedules, I scheduled an appointment in advance so the parts could be ordered and the work scheduled appropriately. I dropped the car off Sunday night using the key drop on the front of the building. I had scheduled it for pickup by 4:30PM monday. At 3:30 Nard called to inform me the work was complete and the car could be picked up at any time. All went exactly as expected. I have been using his service for years now and would not go anywhere else.
Description of Work: During a previous service it had been discovered the front brakes needed to be replaced and the rotors needed to be resurfaced. It was also discovered the front left axel needed to be replaced (it was making a grinding when turning at low speeds in parking lots). He advised it should last through the winter and should be done before heavy use in the spring and summer.

Description of Work: The CPS was bad on my 2004 Altima. Nard inspected, replaced it and reset the computer.
