They came out and explained that the doorbell could not be replaced. I received a hefty bill, I called to ask about the pricing and he shouted at me. He charged me for more than the service call fee despite no work done, he elaborated and told me I was paying for gas and travel which I believe is covered under a service fee. I was surprised because I had previously used them to fix a ceiling fan, and was happy with the work and the professionalism. The price on the fan repair came out to less than the doorbell call which added to my concerns about the pricing.

..He was very punctual, very friendly and courteous. I thought he was pretty quick too, considering he did it all himself. Precision Electric had estimated it taking 2 techs a mininium of 3 hours. I think Bill's Electric was done in less than 3 hours...his price was excelllant, the work was excellant, very little mess....He ran the line through the themostat controller that was used with the ceiling heat, before the heat pump was put in. He didn't have a cover for the box where the themastat was, so he promised to come back that evening with a cover..... But didn't show. I wanted to call and remind him before it got to late the next morning....when I called he was enroute to my house, and apologized for not showing up the night before...he said he ran into problem on t job the night before. He showed up in about 15 minutes and put the cover in place. I have had him do other work for me as well. Very pleased with everything he his done.

Description of Work: Took off Friday so electrician could get up in attic before it became unbearable. Sam didn't show up, had to call the office to find out what happened to Sam. He finally showed up at 11, installed one light and was gone before noon to take his mother to a doctor appt. I was fine with him leaving to take care of his mother when he promised to return on Sat at 8am to finish the job. Calls at 8:30 Sat to tell me he doesn't usually work on Saturdays and won't be there. Multiple excuses given in addition to not working on Saturday, football game tickets, selling some cattle, girlfriend coming to town. So I took a day off pretty much for nothing and he can't understand why I don't want to hang around on Monday (Labor day) so maybe he can show up and do the work. I told him not to ever come back. The owner, Bill Rigsby was pleasant and apologetic, but if this is his staff and the normal behavior, I would NOT recommend this company.

Called several local electrical services asking about approximate cost to move light fixture. Of the ones I spoke with Bill's Electric sounded the best and offered to complete the job the same day. After some phone tag, we coordinated a time. I had to come home from work and pulled in the driveway the same time as the electrician. He was very courteous and professional. I showed him the job and he started right away. I stayed with him and watched what he did - hoping to learn something. He was pleasant and polite throughout the job. I will definitely call again for any electrical needs.
