Our AC is not that old in fact it is still under warranty. We purchased the unit from ATC. Every summer since we have had to call them to come out because it was not cooling. This summer was no exception. We called they came out said it was something that needed to be replaced but we just had that same part replaced last year. The technician thought he had a solution it was a coil to go on the inside unit. We knew this would be a bit more expensive but if it took care of our issue and did not have to have them come out to fix something every year and just normal maintenance we thought it would be worth it The technician had to have the part ordered and told us we would get a call with an estimated cost the next day. We never got that call. About a week and half later I call them, first didn’t know the job was not complete then told me they would get back with me the next day due to the boss was out of the office, this was on a Thursday. No call I called back the following Wednesday was told would get an estimate email, was told this 3 times and yet to see that email. I guess they thought I would freak out when it was almost $1000 but I thought if it works it’s worth it. They put it in we pay. Then had to call them back out because no air through the vents at least before we had some air.. they FINALLY got it fixed and another $1400 later after fixing some of their mistakes. I just feel that under new ownership this place is shady, don’t want to give you an estimate when they say they would. Jason even said he would work with us on the bill because of all the issues but I don’t feel $1400 is working with us. Next time I have to have work done I’m just calling someone else. This is not acceptable

I called Action Cooling and Heating about a gas furnace that would not work and Jeremy Acito and his assistant responded to my call in about half an hour. He replaced a cracked hot surface igniter that I knew was broken. The unit still would not heat. His diagnostics were showing a polarity problem. He rewired the transformer which had been wired incorrectly when someone else repaired the air conditioning and everything is working fine. I will definitely call again if I ever have a problem.

I called Jeremy on Saturday. He agreed to squeeze me into his schedule and he showed up Monday morning at EXACTLY 8:00 AM (our agreed time). I described the problem and symptoms, and he immediately started troubleshooting the issues. I was impressed by his professionalism and skill. He described what he was thinking, and he shared how he was diagnosing the problem as we walked together thru his solutions. There were three problems involving two bad connections and one potential short circuit where a low voltage thermostat line had gotten hot enough to melt its insulation, and likely had "almost" shorted thru to an adjacent high voltage line. This was a difficult issue to detect, as the voltage was apparently "leaking over" to progressively allow the high voltage line to progressively raise the voltage on the low voltage line more and more over time. This seemed likely as I remembered the development of this problem. I am an engineer and was impressed not only by Jeremy's logical troubleshooting, but also by his willingness to share his knowledge. In the past, it has always taken me a long time to settle into comfortable relationships with service providers. This time, I found a great HVAC installer and service provider in a single day, thanks to Angie's list and honest reviewers. I have now decided to take the time to review several other providers.

Their service was good, I called them the day it broke, and he came out 25 minutes later, on a Sunday. He came out, he was dressed well, he was polite, he was efficient, he was on time, and he did a really, really good job with the air conditioner.

We would love to recommend him as he deserved recognition. His name was Mr. Jeremy Action. He was the owner and the employee. Our air conditioning went down in the summer time and it was very warm. He came out on the next morning and went through it. He replaced some coil, put in Freon and so forth. He came back and gave us a bill for $89. We knew that it would cost more than $89 and so, we wondered as to what was going on. We took the time and contacted Trane which was the name of the company. They told me that since we were still under the warranty they covered all the parts and everything and that was just their labor bill. If he had handed us over a bill for $400 then we would have paid it as we needed the air conditioner. We bought a house that was beyond this repair and that was our business. We would definitely want him to get business because he needs it. We would like to grade him highly on everything across the board. The pump for my heater and air conditioner went out and it flooded out the basement. We called him up and he came out the next morning. He told us that it was going to be a little more expensive because these pumps would last for about forty years. He also told that these pumps were probably carried out from the previous furnace and so, we were going to need a new one. He said that it would cost $170 or so. He told us about the price upfront and we agreed with it. He replaced it and serviced it. We were very happy with him.
