Description of Work: My refrigerator went out on New Year's Eve. It was running all the time without stopping. I called Steward since he had repaired the refrigerator before. Stewards also had repaired my washer, my daughter's washer, and a friend's freezer. He did a superb job on repairing all of the above and went out of his way on the freezer repair helping to keep the meat from spoiling. Getting him to return calls has been a problem. I did not expect service on New Year's Eve. However, I did expect to receive a call later in the weekend. I never receive a call to my message left on the answering machine. Good work when he does it. Fair prices. Only use him when you can wait and keep calling him.

Description of Work: Check refrigerator, it wasn't cooling . Gave an estimate on how much it would cost to replace compressor. He worked with me, so I would not have to take early from work to meet him. He scheduled to meet me when I arrived home from work.

+ -1 moreVery fair price for long distance service call and switch replacement. We have dealt with this company for over 25 years (father, then the son) and that have always been fair, honest, and professional.
Description of Work: Called for service on washer. Steve came out same day and had the exact part he believed we would need. Quick courteous service at a very fair price.

+ -1 moreVery good. Dryer would not start the night before and the next day it was working perfectly.
Description of Work: Our dryer would not start. I called the next morning and left a request for a call about the problem. Did not hear anything so I called again after lunch and was able to talk to the owner. Came right out and replaced the timer on the dryer. Good quality work with a fantastic price. Will use this company again.

Description of Work: I called a week ago to ask for repairs. I never received a call back. I called 4 more times and to date, not even a call saying, "Sorry I am very busy and I will not be able to get to you until................"

+ -1 moreI searched Angie's list for a repair service last week, and seeing Mr. Stewart's high ratings, decided to call him. The woman who answered the phone at his business was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I told her which days would work for me, and she had Mr. Stewart call and schedule a trip to my home. He arrived right on time and well-prepared. It turned out that he needed to replace a switch on my washing machine lid. Fortunately, he had the part he needed on his truck. Voila! My washer runs, and I am washing clothes as I type this report.
Description of Work: Mr. Stewart repaired a broken switch on my washing machine.

+ 0 moreEXCELLENT. I had dealt with his father in the past, always a good experience. Trustworthy and reasonably priced.
Description of Work: My refrigerator drain tube was clogged - dripping into the floor. He fixed it quickly and showed me what the problem was. The dryer was not heating - he replaced a fuse and the thermostat, and also blew out my duct with a leaf blower, and cleaned out the lint filter from the back (lots of stuff in there).
