Description of Work: the problem I had they did not fix. A great many items on my machine were removed without my permission to try and fix the problem. The problem still exists to this day. I have a way of going around it. No thanks to them. I would use them again because there is no other computer place local.

+ -1 moreI would recommend Cybertek Computer Solutions to anyone who has computer issues. They were professional, fast, and very reasonable.
Description of Work: My laptop began having issues after about a year and a half of owning it. I was worried that it would be very expensive to fix. After reading reviews on Angie's list, I decided to give Cybertek Computer Solutions a try. I took my laptop in on a Friday and had it back fixed by Tuesday morning. It turns out that the touchscreen feature on my computer was malfunctioning. A.J. quoted me two prices: one for disconnecting the touchscreen feature and another for replacing the screen. Replacing the screen was going to be very expensive. However, he was able to disconnect the touch feature, and I am able to use it as a regular laptop. I was so relieved because I just needed a reliable computer to use for doing school work.

+ -1 moreMy desktop computer wouldn't power up, so after an internet search I belived I had a bad power supply. I took it to Cybertek based on a friends reccomendation. The tech confirmed that was indeed the case. I left it for the repair and got it back the next day.Since I was satisfied with this I had my laptop serviced. There were several viruses and all wre removed. Got it back in about a week.

Description of Work: To use the new flat screen monitor with my older Pro Mac computer, a new graphics card and new interface had to be installed in the computer. The DVD drive also needed to be replaced. CyberTek gave me an estimate, offered me the choice of a more expensive Apple drive or a much less expensive generic drive (I chose the latter.). The technician also upgraded some of my software and ran some diagnostics. From the latter, he discovered that my CPU chip had some bad sectors. Not surprising since my cat had peed on the front of the compter. Anyway, the replacements and upgrades were reasonably priced and done well. I highly recommend CyberTek for Mac users. Can't comment on its PC capabilities, but I'd say they are of the same caliber.

+ -1 moreHe deserves a pat on the back. He is very good and knows what he is doing. He keeps his word when he promises to come. I trust him with my computer. I have a Mac and find it hard to find service providers in this area for this type computer. He has a kind heart and is a good person.
