Tree removal was satisfactory, but the subsequent stump removal has not happened. He does not answer his phone for our number nor has he been to complete the job. We have asked for one or the other to happen. Numerous attempts have been made to contact him and he only answers if it is a new number we are calling from.

I was sick the day they came and tried to reschedule, but they insisted and said they wouldn't bother me. They cut down most of the tree, making several large holes in my neighbors yard which they said they would repair. They started cutting up the large logs and carrying them to their truck when the guy in charge came to my door and asked for the cash for the job because they were almost done and a few of the guys had to leave so they wanted to pay them. I paid him, because I am too trusting and was feverish. He left immediately after this, leaving logs all over my front yard, a large log they had not yet cut up on the side of the house, sawdust everywhere, leaves and debris, and the large holes in my neighbors yard not repaired. He also had not cut the stump down yet. He has not responded to my messages and will not return my calls. We had to pay another company to finish the work. Basically the bottom line is: Top Notch Tree Experts are criminals and should not be trusted!

The crew arrived in stages and the work was delayed in getting started. However, they were finishing up another job so it was understandable. The crew worked fairly efficiently once they got started and took care to do as little damage as possible. They did not have large trucks and equipment so the larger parts of the trunk and the branches were roped off and fell in a controlled fashion. The crew did not stack the massive amount of wood in the location I had asked and also did not stack in neatly. They also asked for money midway through the job which was annoying. Overall, they did what they said they would and no one was hurt and no property was damaged. If i use this company again, I would ensure to get EXACT specifications on the job in writing. 2/8/2014 Update: The team never came back to finish the job and would not answer or return my phone call. I had to finish cutting the tree up myself.
