The Tree Trimmer

They arrived earlier than scheduled. They cut down several trees for me and did stump grinding for three of them. One tree approximately 60 feet tall required them to place the lift between my deck and a fence and drop all parts of trees in a 20 foot opening and they did. They were very professional and had top notch equipment. All workers were well trained and did an excellent job including a comprehensive clean up. Price quoted was the price after I expressed satisfaction with what was done.

I found The Tree Trimmer doing some work at my neighbors. I walked over and asked if he could give me an estimate before he left. He immediately came over and looked at what I needed done and told me he could do it the same day. They did a great job. Did exactly what I needed. He made great suggestions. You could tell he cared about what he did. The cleanup was superb leaving my yard looking better than they found it. His crew was as hardworking and conscientious as I have seen in a while. They take pride in their work. I would definitely recommend them for tree service.

I called Tree Trimmer and received prompt call back. They were booked up for several weeks, but recommended Arbor Tree Service. I appreciate this referral since they were unable to do the job. Arbor Tree Service is a great company. They did a great job.

Second time using The Tree Trimmer. Just like first experience, great work and when the job was finished, the clean-up was superb. Except for the much improved appearance after trimming, you would not know any work was performed on the grounds.

owner answered my call shortly after I had called him. He was very straightforward and honest about his work schedule for the next few months. I needed the work done right away and so could not use him. Have worked with so many others that would have "dragged me along", so refreshing for his politeness. Will definitely use him in the future.

After 2 visits and many texts and calls over about 5 months they never came and did the job they said they would do. They said they had many good reviews and were some of the best but failed to show that in their timeliness. They did not seem eager to do this job which was a pretty big job.

Everything went well. Clean up was excellent. If I ever need any kind of tree work/service done I will definitely call the Tree Trimmer.

These guys were great. This was not an insurance job, but this was the only company I contacted that insisted I get three estimates before choosing a contractor. Needless to say, the other two companies did not even mention the possibility of other companies. They suggested they work on a Saturday (when they usually do not) due to part of the tree laying on my home - they wanted to get it removed as soon as possible so the possibility of damage to my home from possible storms would be taken away. They also did a great job cleaning up. The only way you could tell they had even been there was the absence of the tree!

The transformation was amazing as the crew went above and beyond to make our yard beautiful. I can't thank them enough. We will 100% use the tree trimmer again!

Job went real well. The workers were on the job and had all the trees cut and removed in a few hours. All of the stumps were ground and the property was cleaned up.

Great! Initial job was for one day but since I had so much work took a day and half. They did great work, cleaned up and smoothed up the yard where the trees had fallen and damaged the yard. Would definitely hire again.

Showed up promptly and provided an estimate for removal, I was impressed with the meeting and accepted the price, Never showed up. I followed up with a call several months later. They were apologetic and said still wanted to do the job, multiple calls and conversations- about 6 months later again -nothing..... I gave a C rating as I still feel they are competent, just wish they would have been more up front and declined the job if they didn't want to do it. I have given up.

I contacted this tree service due to all the positive reviews. I mean 147 reviews to the next most being 15? Who would you call? I scheduled the estimate and at the appointed time a truck pulls in my driveway but low and behold it is not the guy I contacted but another tree service company that the Tree Trimmer called who just happens to be the one with the 2nd most reviews. Advice to The Trimmer; This guy has not only made himself look bad but you as well. It has been over 2 months since the estimate and still no work done. I know its been wet but he told me once there was 2 jobs ahead of me and he could get me by the end of the week if it didn't rain. Although it did rain that week there have been several dry stretches since then and still no trees removed. Now he will not return calls or texts.

I called Scott and Jim for info on removing a tree from our backyard. Jim came out the next day and gave me a very fair estimate. We scheduled an appointment for the following week to have the service performed. The day before the removal, Scott came by our house to verify what work needed to be done. After a delay due to bad weather, Scott brought his crew of five workers to our house and had the tree cut down and removed within two hours. Everyone was extremely friendly and worked very hard to get the work done ASAP. It was a pleasure doing business with both Jim and Scott again. They had come to our house about 2.5 years ago and did an awesome job cutting down four trees (including a Sycamore over 100ft!), removing tree stumps, and some other miscellaneous work. I would highly recommend both of these gentlemen. You won't be disappointed!

Jim is an excellent person, honest and open about the work that should be completed. He let me make the decision about what work should be done but gave me a few options that were clearly described. His attention to detail is terrific and his crew just as professional and friendly. I am extremely happy with his work and the clean up that they did. I would strongly recommend him.

I contacted Tree Trimmer to do some clean up work in the aftermath of a storm. I was very pleased with the work and the timely manner that they responded to my request. They were very professional. All phone calls and messages were returned immediately. I would recommend them to others and if in the future I need more work done, they will be the first I call.

The Tree Trimmer was recommended by a friend as professional, thorough and reasonable. Called and received an estimate as well as an important recommendation to remove a Maple tree in my front yard that had significant trunk damage weakening it and potentially dangerous if it fell. They also recommended several trees to be trimmed back. All I can say is "Great Job." Not only did they do what they said they would do but went beyond without any hassle about quoted price. And, they cleaned up the property so it hardly appeared they did all this significant work. Highly recommend The Tree Trimmer. I wouldn't call anyone else if I needed more work done in the future. BTW, they really do honor the 10% discount for Angie's members!!

Jim is an excellent person. He has a great crew and a very good work ethic. He went above Ned beyond my expectation in this job. His prices are very reasonable and I am extremely happy with his work and the clean up he did after work. I would strongly recommend him. Even if you have to wait few days, he is worth the wait. First of all, The Tree Trimmer was the easiest tree trimmer to communicate with. Others either didn't call back, didn't provide a solid quote, never came for the initial quote. A few came and gave a quote, but The Tree Trimmer was the easiest to deal with BY FAR! He answered questions, made sure we were on the same page, and took care of the yard as if it was his own in my opinion. The Tree Trimmer was willing to work with me and go above and beyond the "call of duty." After a thorough review the trees actually needed to be removed because there was a TON of trash and even dead trees in the mix of things. The trees were a mess. Whoever worked on the trees in the past (I actually almost went with them) butchered the trees. There were also A LOT of stumps left over from the previous work that had been done. I believe he did the best tree work I've ever seen at a more than fair price, and he left the yard looking great! The neighbors came by during and after the work and told me how much better the yard looked already and were so glad that the work was being done. The workers were friendly to my family as we spent some time outside showing our little girl what the Tree Trimmer was doing. Great work and great clean up! I finally found a tree guy that I can trust! Blessings!
