Terminix - Johnson City -Termite & Pest Control

I am building a house and needed the a pretreatment service done to the foundation. I contacted terminix and arranged an appointment. My husband met with the representative and they lined up the work to happen in the next week. It was ONE MONTH later after numerous unanswered phone calls, voice messages, and emails that we still did not have our treatment or any idea what had happened to our contact guy. I finally got in touch with the office and they said the treatment had been done. It definitely had not been done and we had not been charged to our card. We called back and they said, no the treatment definitely had not been done and our contact guy had either been fired or quit, they weren't sure... (WHAT!?) I called McClain's Pest Service and the contact man came out THAT day to get our measurements. He put the order in and had the job completed the next day. Did I mention Terminix quoted us $500 and McClain's service was only $360. This location's terminix is NOT worth your time. Go with McClains.

Both houses were due for the quarterly service. Neither house was done entirely, with some of the external bait traps not even touched. Cannot reach local office no matter what time of the day I call. Customer service at national number just gave me long wait times, numerous transfers and lip service. Paid the bill just to be rid of them and cancelled all services. So much for supporting the local branch and local economy.

They did a very good job. I was pleased. The quality of their work and customer service is good.

They do work for me all the time. They were fine. If I have any issues they come back and do it free of charge.

They came in and did the outside, but they never contacted me back to do the inside. They always keep coming earlier and earlier. I've been using them for 17 years and it has really been about the same. We were the original owners of this house and we have never had termites. Somehow they changed their responsibility so that they would actually do more than treat, if we ever had them. We never have had them and every year they come and inspect. Actually, the last two years they've never inspected the inside. They changed it so that they do a small portion of the cost. And I asked, "Why?" They said, "Because you must have had termites." I said, "We've never had termites. Look at your records." I will have to use them in future because otherwise we'll lose our warranty on the termite protection. We're kind of stuck at this point.

The service was great. There are no issues with them. When we bought the house, the previous owner had the contract and we took over from them.

Been a customer since 2004 for termite and pest control. The termite service is excellent but the quarterly pest control service has gone down hill the past 3 years. They have changed the service technician without explanation. I require some inside pest control services and would appreciate notification so I can be home. The local office management does not want to do so except to notify me when they are on they way to my home. If I am not at home then it requires me to call and have them come again. When they spray my basement it stinks for the next 2 weeks afterwards because they changed chemical mixtures. I requested they use the old mixture but the new technician has not tried to accommodate my request. Rather than writing a diatribe of all the problems I have encountered with Terminix and their pest control service, suffice it to say that they overcharge for what they provide, are unresponsive to requests to correct problems and some of their technicians are not always knowledgable. Recommend you try another pest control service company

They've been great. They were wonderful. It far exceeded what I had done in the past.

We had just purchased our new house and soon discovered some unusual and nasty hornets in one of the backyard trees. I called Terminex and they were out within 24 hours and had those hornets gone. While they were there they also performed a more extensive termite inspection and found those as well. We had them go ahead a fix that issue as well. We now have them out quarterly to take care of all of our insect issues. I would recommend them to anyone.

I contacted through their websi te and got immediate response. Salesman did onsite inspection and workers were quick and workm was done as contracted.

We were not thrilled with them. The amount the charged was way too much. Their billing process was disgusting. They really didn’t do anything other than squirt some stuff around the house and call it done. That was on the outside; they wouldn’t come inside. I used Terminix when I lived in Michigan and they were much more thorough than these people were. I think the quality of their work sucked; we really didn’t see any difference. I had a little wooden bench sitting on the lawn and three days after they were done spraying I noticed one leg was down. I went to check and it was loaded with termites. I didn’t think they did a good job at all. They got here quickly; they were Johnny-on-the spot. I definitely would not use them again.

If you need an exterminator, Terminix is great. The overall experience is excellent. I am satisfied with the price. I assume they are competitive or they wouldn't be in business. The quality of work is excellent. I have had occasion to call them twice, and they have responded rapidly and effectively both times. I will continue to use this provider.

They called me to let me know when they were coming out. They did a good job.

They do their job. They are who we started using them, and we have continued using them. They are usually on time. They do a pretty decent job of controlling insects.

They do a good job. They are a nationwide company and have great standards. The people that work for them are expected to do a good job.

So far they have been so good. They have been taking care of my pest control for a long time. I haven’t seen any bugs outside. They have been taking care of the termites and I have not seen any. They just inspect and they have not found any termites under my house but they came and looked. I pay about $20 a month to come out for the whole year. I get it deducted from my bank every month and they just come and get started. They haven’t found any termites and that is the security I get. I hope they are right about it and I also have not seen any termites.

They are on time. I have not seen an ant in this house since they have sprayed.

I have a contract with them. They were here about three weeks ago. They usually do the outside but when you ask them they will do the inside which I called and asked them. They did a good job. They were here on time. I've been pleased with them.

I had termite problem and they came and sprayed all around the house. I also carried the contract for about a year with them. They used to walk around the house with the spray bottle once in three months. They were fine and I didn’t have any problem with their work. They were little pricier. I haven’t had any termites after they sprayed all over. They had told me that it wouldn’t come back for six years and I haven’t had any bug problem. I think their price was fair.
