They quoted me a fair price and guaranteed it. The came the day they said they would and finished the job on time. I was pleased with the work and quality of the product they installed.

They did a good job. The circumstances why I give them a little more latitude is because we had a storm and they had 20 roofs in my neighbourhood to do. So we had to give them time and we needed to be patient. But the owner Gary was hung in there. If I called him whenever anybody was not trying to put a roof on I probably would have got him a little quicker. So I don't blame him for that. Price was comparative. I sure would use them in the future.

It went very well. In fact, we asked to keep their sign on the lawn longer to rave about the roof and give them extra advertising. Gary was really great. It seemed he would do what he needed to satisfy us. When we couldn't make a decision on which roof, he took the samples up to the roof so we could see how they would look. He gave us his thoughts on which he thought would work best, and helped us decide. Those guys came out to do the roof and really worked. They worked until late evening, so be prepared! Lots of loud knocking, but they got it all done in a day. Most of the cleanup was done the same day, also. Great job cleaning up. I wish they did other jobs for me. If I need siding, I'll certainly give them a chance.

They did good work but they were not as responsive as I would have liked them to have been.

I spent maybe $4000 on that service. They did a very good job.

They've done business here for a long time. They did a really good job. They were here and gone in a day and a half.

Due to widespread damage throughout the area, we thought their responsiveness was reasonable, and they showed up to our property on the dates they said they would be here. They completed the project by 4:30 pm the same day they began and so far we are happy with the work. The only two complaints regarding our experience with them are as follows. First, I would have liked them to clean up after themselves a bit more thoroughly. Overall, the cleanup they did was ok, but the deck was covered in debris that I wish they wouldn't have left for me to clean up. Second, one of the workers told me they had some final things to complete tomorrow and asked if they could leave their work trailer parked in our driveway overnight since they would be back. The next morning they showed up only to hitch the trailor to their truck and drive off. I was put off that they were not forthcoming about simply wanting to park their equiptment in our driveway because they would be back in the area for another job the next morning. Had they simpley asked without slanting the truth we still would have allowed them to park the equiptment here for the night. The fallacy just wasn't necessary and disappointing. However, as I previously stated, we are happy with the work on our roof and would use them again in the future.

They did ok except for the flashing around my chimney. They did come back and redo part of it but it still was just ok and not great. Other than that they did ok and they gave me a good price.

It went fine, weather was the issue - so it took about 1 week to complete.

Company was hired to do roofing -from metal to shingle-We waited WEEKS for our project to begin. the roofing tiles we ordered were not what was used. They used left over tiles that were old and inferior.. Worker told us they came from a farm j9ob they had done My front flower beds were completely destroyed!! Tromped upon time and again with feet and ladders. (I have pictures). We have a small home with an upstairs attic that was made into guest rooms and play are for our grandchildren. We dont go up therer every day, and there is a door separating it from dining area.They had dropped something through the ceiling when the metal roof was removed!!!! All they did was keep on roofing!! Never told me, and never obviously offered to fix it or clean it up. Upon outside inspection of roof, you could plainly see that there were dozens of tile not even lying flat on the roof . There are raised bumps everywhere and the roof leaks when it rains really hard.. My husband and I were working like mad at that time. He is very non-confrontational, but we did ask Mr Snowden to come out to look. That never happened. Strangest thing...they didn't put out one of their "roofing by Snowden"" signs in OUR yard... Wonder why?? I would NEVER recommend rtheir services. to anyone.

One area required two visits but the second visit was prompt and fixed the problem. My only suggestion is that they call before they come out. I have dogs that need to be put up and happened to be home when they came. If I had not been then they may not have been able to do the work. I felt the price was fair for the work done. So my c rating on punctuality is because of no advance calling. Also I wish they had called me back about my skylight leak instead if me having to call them.

Mr. Snowden was here on time for estimate. Provided estimate for basic roof replacement along with upgrades, made reasonable suggestions. Explained in advance circumstances that could cause delays due to the time of year the work was to be done. Work was done quickly, cleaned up after themselves, no trash left in yard. Overall very pleased with the job.

Mr. Snowden came to the house to make an estimate on roof repairs. He took my husband up on the roof and discussed some of the issues with the roof. While we were talking to Mr. Snowden in the yard about the repairs needed on our roof, the neighbor drove by in his car and called Mr. Snowden away from us. They carried on a conversation for about 5 minutes while we waited patiently for him to come back and finish discussing our roofing needs. When he returned, he said he would give us an estimate within twenty four hours. We never heard from him again. Two weeks later, Snowden's came out and replaced our neighbor's entire roof. We feel that Mr. Snowden was very unprofessional because he neglected our repair work in order to get a full roof replacement job.

DO NOT use these people had 4 windows install was told job would take 8 hours to complete. Two guys came Friday oct 15 was supppost to be at my home at 9:30 showed up at 11:30 one guy left at 12 to go home and get his phone charger came back at 5 pm. Left at 7 pm I had three windows stuck in that I could see outside thru the sides they told me they would come sunday Oct 17 to finish job. No show on Sunday no phone calls and would not return phone calls. Came back Oct 24 worked two hours left again. Took a total of 12 days to complete job. Very unprofessional. No appologies from workers or owner.

I have contacted Mr. Snowden over a period of 3 weeks regarding re-fixing a leak that he had previously addressed. I was told he stood by his work and would send someone out. Unfortunatley, I have called and left messaged 3 times with no return call. To date, I have received no return call and will not be calling again. I will seek other assistance via Angie's list.

Within a month we had the first leak around one chimney.... major leak! We had NEVER had a leak with the OLD roof!!! JWe just felt that we'd take preventive measures and also install architectural shingles. Called them back to fix the first chimney and it doesn't leak now, BUT the ceiling is still stained. The person who came out to fix the leak was very nice also. Since that time, the other chimney leaked badly as have all skylights and where there are adjoining areas of the roof. We had to hire a contractor to reflash and fix what they did not flash properly. With an old roof that was more than 25 years old, they should have reflashed everything when they replaced the roof! We did NOT want to call the same people out again to fix what they already messed up! I also have a client who had a similar experience with the home they bought and reroofed. This company was THE BEST IN THE AREA until the last few years, and that is sad! The owner is very nice, started the company in the 70's I believe, as we used them a number of times over the years, and always recommended them until our latest experience and that of my client.. It is only in the last 4 years or so that we have seen and heard very negative experiences.

See above. If you get estimates from other companies, you might find they are comparable in price. But Snowden's pretty much got the roofing business locked up with quality in Tri Cities!

I called Mr Snowden for estimate on replacing roof after damage during wind storms, and received very fair price. After learning insurance would only pay for partial replacement, and I did have the money to pay the rest, I opted for repair. Called Mr Snowden for repair estimate, and after a few days, received a fair price for the repair. Called, left message on voice mail that I would like repair done, sent in the signed agreement and after a few days received date of repair. Was told repair would be in the morning, some time before noon, but no one arrived until 1pm. The repair was done quickly and all materials removed. So far, no problems and I am very satisfied with the job done.

They did a very good job. They did fast work. The roof looks good. He charged me about the same as the price would be for regular shingles.

Snowden roofing removed my old roof, replace several sheets of plywood and installed a new 30 year architectural roof on my home. I went out for 4 quotes and they were the lowest price for what I wanted installed. I would highly recommend them.

Great. Quick with scheduling and completing assessment, Mr. Snowden did the estimate. He was terrific. Work was done quickly (within 3 days) and the workers did a great job. My only complaint was that Mr. Snowden told me they would call before they came to work, and the workers did NOT call. They just showed up, and I was not dressed yet, nor were my children. I hadn't penned up my dogs yet, and they went berserk. It was very unprofessional. I called the office and told the receptionist I wasn't happy, and that Mr. Snowden should STOP TELLING PEOPLE THE WORKERS WILL CALL BEFORE THEY COME, BECAUSE THEY DON'T!!! Also, the workers complained to me about Mr. Snowden, saying"He always leavs out the most important information on the work order." They were quite derisive. I found that to be unprofessional also.

The installers arrived at 8:00am, they were done by 4:00pm....They cleaned up after themselves and didn't hang around! I had a question and Mr. Snowden came out and answered it for me.

Quick response to get a quote and to do the work. Crew was good and work was done quickly and professionally. Issue was with a shutter on the house that one of the workers damaged. Work was done in January and shutter was not replaced until end of April. Took multiple phone calls before they finally sent someone out with a replacement shutter. I should have held back part of my payment until the shutter was replaced but I didn't because they have such a great reputation in the community I just expected the issue to be resolved quickly but it wasn't. All that said, I would still recommend them and probably use them again if needed.

I called the company and they came out within the week to estimate and had a written estimate in my hands within three days of looking at the house. As soon as I gave them the go-ahead to do the job, the materials were delivered and the entire job was completed within a week. They were incredibly professional the entire time. My tenant is thrilled and so am I. The bill was exactly what he had estimated and it looks better than I would have expected.

The work went well, the workers finished in a day, and the result looks fantastic. My ONLY issue is that, after calling to tell me he'd order the materials and let me know when they could come out, Mr Snowden didn't call me back. The workers just showed up one day. However, they were completely professional, and I really have no complaints. Also, the estimate I got from Mr Snowden was literally $1000 cheaper than the other two companies I checked with. Since we wanted the architectural shingles, we knew we'd be paying more, but even with that added cost Snowden's was much much more affordable. It is possible that they didn't call me simply because the work was done in February, and they simply came out on the first decent day they could when it wasn't freezing or raining. It didn't really bother me, since I'm home all day. Another thing, Mr Snowden agreed to do the work when I called him, but I never gave him the signed contract. All the work was done without the company having any documentation that said that I would pay them. Of course I did, but I found it very refreshing to work with a company that wasn't mired in contracts and legal bother, and simply trusted the customer.
