SAFE WAY TERMITE & PEST

The crew installed the vapor barrier correctly but put up R13 insulation when the contract called for R19. They did remove the R13 and replaced it with R19. So that worked out. The Safeway agent who wrote up the contract and promised the dehumidifer would be placed in the center of the crawl space with a french drain to the outside was the one that lied to us. Crew who came out to install it said that placement wasn't possible in the area she promised and they placed it next to an outside wall. I tried to get in touch with her and she would never return my calls. The contract called for Safeway to come out twice a year and replace the filter for three years. I always had to call and remind them to do that. We used Safeway services for years, primarily for yearly termite inspection. Wouldn't recommend them for other jobs.

He walked around in the finished basement area with a flashlight looking for termite damage then outside around the perimeter of the home. He found no damage in the home but found termites in an area outside of the garage area. He definitely was not thorough in his search but gave us an estimate for digging a trench around our home and putting the treatment chemicals in the trench. We decided not to hire this particular company.
