Mild to Extreme Plumbing

Bathroom looks ok. The kid they used as a sub-contractor with the plumbing knew what he was doing and did impressive work, and another helper they use part-time, Lowell was very knowledgeable and helpful. If it had not been for them, I'm sure even more of the jobs would not be completed yet. The owner of the company, Dave seems to be a nice man, but doesn't seem to be able to enforce quality of work by partner John. John who acted as if he were part owner and who quoted the prices on the other handy-man jobs after the bathroom was "completed" seems to be the main problem. He was constantly asking for money prior to completion of work and wanted me to keep that info from Dave. They started work here in November of 2010 and still have not finished, even though I have already paid for all the work to be completed. He acknowledged that he never had to wait whenever he asked for money and that I could not have treated him better if he were family. He has given me date after date that he would be here to complete the jobs already paid for and never showed up and never called. And now, he doesn't even take my phone calls. In my opinion, he is a con-artist that not only takes advantage of the customers but also to his co-workers.

Mild to Extreme plumbing made several visits for us and did several different jobs, and we had an excellent experience with them. The first thing they did was fix our sink - the handle of the sink had stopped tightening the whole way, and so David, the owner of Mild to Extreme, came out and replaced it for us. Since it was somewhat of an emergency situation, he got the job done for us very quickly and even took our calls between his first exploratory visit and his follow-up. He replaced the fixture and on a subsequent visit also replaced our bathroom hardware. After this first visit, we had Mild to Extreme out to deal with our broader plumbing problems, which had been plaguing us since we bought the house. David confirmed what we already knew from previous (less satisfactory) plumbing visits, which was that all our plumbing needed to be replaced in order to remedy our persistent and growing problem with water pressure. He replaced all the plumbing in the entire house, and all this at a very reasonable rate. During this stage, we sometimes had problems getting David on the phone, and he sometimes changed the dates he expected to work - but this was a very small price to pay for the speedy job he did for us. He also installed a new dishwasher and counter in our kitchen. We have remained satisfied with all this work and are grateful to finally have a reliable plumber we know we can call upon.
