HART HOME IMPROVEMENTS

My project: demolish and rebuild a room that had been added on to my 90-year-old house. Mr. Hart met me and looked over the room and made suggestions about how to go about implementing my plan. His suggestions were excellent and addressed several areas that I had not considered. Within a week he sent me an estimate and a time for when he could begin. His crew, Bobby, Chad, and B.J. were excellent workers. They were fast but methodical in approaching every aspect of the job. They were careful, studied problems such as mating a new addition to an old house that was no longer square. Occasionally when considering how to approach an issue, they would consult with Mr. Hart who worked with them about how best to handle it. Mr. Hart and the crew are all very friendly and personable. When I made a suggestion about a change, the crew very readily accepted my request with no complaint, no sighs, no frowns: "Whatever you want, Mr. Branscomb." The final cost came very close to Mr. Hart's original estimate. I have already spoken with Mr. Hart about future projects. I give my whole-hearted recommendation to Hart Home Improvements.

Hart Home Improvements had already replaced our entire kitchen, as well as 2 bathrooms. As always, the job was done to our total satisfaction Scotty Hart takes pride in everything he does & his work shows it. He is worth waiting for .

All completed on time within budget and time. He has been our general contractor for 7 years. Have been 100% pleased with all that he has done for us. I will continue to use them.

Scottie and his men showed up each day promptly at 8:30 a.m. and worked full days, only taking time for lunch. They were courteous, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves. Before starting work, they covered all the furniture and carpet to protect it from construction dust. Where they removed the window above the fireplace, they built wood reinforcement in the event we wanted to move the flat screen in the future, and finished off the outside where the window had been. Their electrician (Mark Henry of All Pro Electric) rewired the cable and electric so that those connections would not be visible, and he also was very professional and worked efficiently. In order to install the pocket door, they had to tear out part of a wall, and after their sheet rock man finished replacing the wall, they painted the new wall, the total wall on the other side of the wall they had torn down, and the wall where they had removed the window so that the paint would show no stop/start marks. One additional thing that was above and beyond that I appreciated deeply: Scottie knew that I was nervous about the roofers (unfortunately, they were not Scottie's roofers) who were doing repairs, and without telling me why, he stayed in his truck in our driveway over lunchtime while his men left for lunch.thi

I went with another contractor who was able to provide more of what I was looking for - a portico for the front of my home tying into an existing pavilion style patio/parking area. Hart was not able to provide an acceptable design for this area and proposed a structure that would not have met our needs at all.

They were good about giving us a quote but we haven't done anything with it. They were great and really professional. They were there on time for the appointment to view the house. They sent the quote afterwards via email. He sent the quote in the time frame he told me he would send it. It was all a very good process. The information in the quote was very detailed.

All of his work has been excellent with attention to detail. His crew is polite and respectful and they always clean up after themselves.

We've used Hart Home Improvement for several projects. Always pleased with the quality of their work. He's more expensive than some, but we've learned the hard way that you often get what you pay for. Scottie and his team are always punctual. They complete their work in a timely manner. They ensure that projects are completed right, not just "good enough." Scottie makes sound recommendations and works to save his customers money when able. Every project that we've had Hart Home Improvements do has added significant value to our home.

We decided not to do the work. It was about a $15000 job. I thought they were very fair. He had some really good ideas but we had to reconsider. We dysfunction the master bath but we chose not to invest that money at this time. It was nothing against his service but we just chose not to do the project. He was very conscientious. He called us back with a $200 tweak to the estimate to make sure we know exactly how much he was quoting us. We would definitely relook on him.

Since I didn't hear back from him, I felt it did not go well.

He was courteous and quite pleasant.

I called Mr Hart to come to my home to give me an estimate on remodeling my two bathrooms. He showed up within 48 hours of my request. I was impressed with his knowledge and his experience in remodeling. He gave me quotes on prices and fully explained everything that his Company would do to make the improvements that I desired. At the time I called Mr Hart, I had no idea of the cost of making the improvements that I wanted. I checked into the pricing and found that Mr Hart had told me truthfully about the cost of replacing items that I wanted to replace. Therefore, I was not able to use Mr Hart's Company at that time due to my financial situation. However, I plan to contact Mr. Hart when I do have the finances to begin my remodeling job..

They were very professional. They started on time. They continued to support the job afterwards, and little touch up was required. They were always friendly and very professional. They are scheduled to do another remodel job at my house.

They were absolutely fantastic, great guys. If I have anymore work he is the first and only person I will ever call.

Great job with the kitchen--started when he said and completed job when he said. The bathroom re-plumbing had major issues but his plumber overcame all obstacles and the bathrooms are now completely redone to our satisfaction. In the middle of redoing the guest bathroom, we had to change to figure for a handicap room. This was done without a hitch except for the medicine cabinet, but it was not the contractors fault.
