We are completely thrilled with our new deck. In two and a half days they tore down our old deck, replaced it with a wonderful new one and left the area clean and neat. They were even able to start almost a week sooner than expected. David kept us informed every step of the way. We couldn't be happier with the finished product.

We contracted DBJ Construction to build an oversized deck with a lower level platform. David, the owner, is super easy to work with. He listened to our desires, advised us of our options and built the most amazing deck for us. David and his team are fast, efficient and punctual. He said what he would do for us then did as he said. He made sure our questions were answered to our satisfaction. Very customer service focused. If we ever moved and needed a new deck he would be our contractor again. I recently contacted with DBJ to build a new deck. I shopped also with other deck builders. DBJ did not submit the low bid. After meeting with David I decided to use them. David and his crew are very proud of their workmanship and well they should be. I now have a beautiful deck that I can be proud of. The quality and attention to detail was outstanding. mr. rtan said he could rebuild the front porch in 4or5 days. Well we are still waiting for the finish. The gutters still need to be put up.They do good work. But getting tired of waiting for the finish.

We hired David based on his current reviews. We needed a new front deck. He quoted us and the price was reasonable. A tad higher but we felt comfortable with him. He began the work on building us our front deck. He and his crew were great and the deck looked wonderful. The deck was almost completed when he asked if we wanted to go with a covered front porch. We agree. This is where things began to go downhill. He was now using our beautiful front deck as a workspace. Not only was our deck being abused, but the work began to get to get less and less quality and lack of attention to the detail. He did repair a few things we pointed out, but made excuses for others. In addition, our driveway was damaged by his crew and himself. I've contacted him for a repair to our gate of the deck, as well as repair to the driveway, which his response was, he's not responsible. Be Leary of hiring this man. The work is good, but he's money greedy and will tell you anything to get your check. He actually asks for the check, prior to inspecting his or his crews work. In closing, I'd like to say, we now have a new deck with a vintage (beat up) look, and a damaged driveway. I have to take his word on the roof addition as I can't get up there to inspect.

Mr. Ryan didn’t give me the lowest estimate for my job, but it was obvious to me, after talking with him, that he was a true professional! He tore down a rotten eyesore and replaced it with a beautiful deck. They also built a lovely set of stairs for me down a very steep bank. The extra cost was money well spent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him or hire him again. His workers were efficient, courteous, and respectful. DBJ Construction is definitely five stars.

David and his crew did a fabulous job on our front deck. They were clean, neat and you could not tell they had been here except for the great deck they left behind. Just what we wanted as an entrance to our Townhouse. Thank you to DBJ for great work.

These guys did an amazing job. David was super easy to get in touch with and always communicated exceptionally well. We were never in the dark about the next steps for our project. And the work they do is phenomenal. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

DBJ provided the best service using premium product. They were not the cheapest bid that I received from multiple contractors for my Deck and Porch project. But, like the old saying goes, â You get what you pay for,â was true in the positive since for me. I was very pleased with the construction and materials used. David was very honest in his appraisal and consulted with me though out job. I had some structural problems with my house that were not visible and needed to be address in order to have a quality product. Instead of putting a band aide on the problem, so he could complete the job, he discussed options with me on how to move forward. I highly recommend DBJ Construction. Everyone who has seen my deck and porch have only positive comments.

Excellent quality work Will hire for next project

After leaving messages with two (2) contractors and not receiving a call back, we turned to Home Advisor. It was very easy to enter our project details to take down and rebuild our back deck. Literally within 2-3 minutes of completing our project details David Ryan called and scheduled a time to come look at our project. David and his team did a great job, they finished on time and on budget. They also left the cleanest construction site I have ever seen. We recommend David without hesitation and will use him again in the future.

Working with David & his crew was the easiest experience we have had. We just moved to the area. Not knowing anyone we used HomeAdvisor. After getting several bids decided on DBJ. From planning to completion they made everything so easy. The sunroom & deck or better than we imagined. I would recommend to my friends & anyone who needs a quality job. David did a great job, very timely, quality work and to code. They replaced a problem staircase with a much safer quality built staircase and landing all in one morning, demolished the old stairs and hauled it all away and left the area very clean. Good communications. I would highly recommend them to friends.

They were very fast and organized. David worked hard and kept everything moving and stayed on top of everything. It is a really pretty job. Great cleanup afterwards! I highly recommend them!

DBJ construction crew showed up early/one day install as promised very good craftsmanship.cleaned up well afterwards. Will be using them again.

We needed to replace our old front, back and wrap around deck in a short time, ideally before Christmas. We contacted David on Monday November 26th and had a contract on the 28th. The crew then tore the deck down and poured footers on Thursday the 29th. The job was finished next Friday and they did a very nice job. The crew were hard workers.
