 + -1 moreWe have been using Dave's waves since 2020 when my husband and I bought our house that had a 40k gallon pool. We never had a pool and were nervous on how difficult it would be. These guys made taking care of my pool so easy. They always know what to do and explain everything in detail. They knew our name the second time we visited and treat us like family. My pool ever year looks like it is professionally maintained because of the effort and time these people take to explain what I need to be doing. And they have cleaned for us several times and close it during the winter. They are fast, efficient, and amazing at everything they do!
Description of Work: Pool closing, explaining how to add salt and different products to pool, water testing, cement replacement, pump replacement

 + -1 moreIt was not a good experience. We had contacted them about replacing the liner in our pool and there were number of issues. The pool was not measured correctly and consequently, the wrong size of liner was ordered and we had a fairly significant water leak out of the pool as a result. It took about 3 months of me threatening to take them to court before he would get with the pool liner manufacturer to try to get the issue resolved. I think we started the pool liner replacement like in June or July and we I think we finally get everything done in October time frame.

 + -1 moreFor both of the services, they were punctual and professional. They always show up, get right to the job, explain along the way what it is they are doing and why. For the pool school, they go from component to component explaining it's purpose and how it works. Detail is given to explaining how to maintain it and get the most time out of it. Emphasis is given to having you do the work while they explain. Once the pool school was over, I felt like I could maintain the pool. For the closing, they arrived and got to work within seconds. Again they went around, doing the work and explaining the how and why. For both services, I was left happy that I had used Dave's Waves for these jobs. From now on though, when I need to buy supplies or equipment for my pool, I'm going to Amazon.com and save a ton of money.
Description of Work: I've used Dave's Waves for a pool school and pool closing for this year. I've used Dave's Waves for the past year for all my pool maintenance needs. When it comes to the services they provide, the know their stuff and I've found the cost reasonable. They are punctual and professional when they show up, get right to the job, explain what they are doing and why they are doing it and educate you all at the same time. When they are done, the job is done plus you've learned enough so that next time you may elect to do the work yourself. My problem though with Dave's Waves is the markup they have on the items they sell in their store. Over the past year I've bought somewhere around $500 worth of stuff, only to realize later that it's significantly less if I had purchased it through online stores like Amazon.com. I found anywhere from a 30%-50% markup on the chemicals and covers and up to a 100% markup on other items like pool cover pumps.
