Services were never received Provider said that he was hacked and the hackers wiped him out financially He gave me the phone number of his ex-wife to see if she would provide the services - but I lost her number We needed those services so I was very disappointed What do I do now???

Things went great. Provider kept in contact with me about appointment, and actually called me to see if it was alright to come early! He did. He was very talkative while he went about the work, and explained everything he was doing and why. He pointed out a few things that were constructed wrong, but not something that needed to be remedied immediately. The crew was very personable and friendly. They were not pushy at all in discussing the roof and a few other things. They just asked that we keep them in mind if we decided to do any other work. I would definitely call them for any future work on roof or siding. Thanks for making us aware of Coombs Roofing and Design.

I had to call him to schedule the work. The first time he didn't call or show up, so I called him back and scheduled the second time, and then he didn't call or show up again and never contacted me at all. The only contact he made with me was the first contact through email and that is when he gave me his number.

I purchased the insulation and did not hear from Mr. Combs so I called him. He was very nice stating he would contact me in a day or so to schedule. He also sent a message via Angie's List stating he would contact me by Wednesday to schedule for Friday when he would come look at the job. I never heard from him. I would like a refund as this communication/scheduling issue has become a hassle and resulted in my not trusting the service provider to follow through. Thank you.

When I called to schedule his estranged wife told me that she was at a safe house and he was a drug dealer. this is the 3rd time he had violated his restraining order. She claimed she did all the book and record keeping and he did the work. I do not want to be in the middle of a domestic dispute.

The lady I spoke with with was very professional and scheduled an appointment with me for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, 9/13/14. I planned my day so that I would be at home. No one ever came or called to let me know that they needed to reschedule.

Although I had suggested 3 dates for the appointment at the time of purchasing the Big Deal, I never heard from the company for them to perform the inspection. Angie's List also reached out to the company, still no contact.

They were very good and very professional. We are waiting to see if we are going to do some follow up work with them. They seem to be very knowledgeable, very user friendly and those are probably the 2 biggest things. It was a big deal purchase. We didn’t pay anything on top of the deal.

Contacted Combs Roofing with what we wanted done about three weeks ago. Jeremy came right out and gave an estimate on both cost and time needed to complete the job. We were provided with a detailed estimate by his wife, Tammy. We agreed. Work got started on time, but hit a snag when our existing back porch overhang was found to have water damage. Jeremy and I agreed to a revised price, which included replacing the existing overhang. At this point, things started to slow down as Jeremy's work crew didn't seem to agree on the proper way to proceed. Several sunny days were wasted with little work getting done, until finally Jeremy himself showed up to supervise the work. Several times during the construction process, Jeremy asked for additional funds against the balance owed upon completion. I agreed and provided them. Work was finally completed yesterday, and final payment made. I am satisfied with the quality of work done, so far as I can tell at this time. My biggest complaint is that a job that should have taken less than a week took over two weeks to complete, with several wasted, sunny days that nothing at all was done. It seems that Jeremy (owner) has to be present for any significant progress to be made. Jeremy himself seems to me to be a very skilled roofer and carpenter. The only advice I could offer him is to try to hire dependable, skilled, workers, and don't give overenthusiastic estimates on how long it will take to complete a project.

Both Jeremy and Tammy are very interesting people who both seem to have a wide range of experience. They arrived a little late, but considering the time and attention they gave us, I can only imagine they were doing something over and above for their previous service visit. Jeremy wasted little time getting to the task after listening to our thoughts and requests. They brought all the materials they needed to make any reasonable "repair" and worked with us to make sure everything was up to the highest serviceability we could expect from an 8yr old composite single roof. I grew up as third generation in the building and construction trades and am a little rusty working at heights. I'm very glad to see Jeremy work. He's very comfortable up there, and comparable to the best I've worked with.

Jeremy and his crew were very professional and the garage looks great. They went beyond expectations in the clean-up afterwards.Would highly recommend.

We waited about 10 days to insure the repair was working as it was supposed to. After 2 all night heavy rain storms the problem had been fixed. Mr Combs did a professional job, was understanding of our problem and fixed the sky light problem and problems that had been created by company that installed the metal roof. I would recommend Combs Roofing to install a new roof and repairing a damaged roof. My wife and I are very satisfied with the work Combs Rofoing did in stopping the leak from our sky lights

He showed up frequently to check on the progress of the job making sure everything was being done correctly by his workers. Highly recommended!

Mr. Jeremy Combs was very personable and responsive, and he provided a detailed written estimate of the work we discussed. When it came time to schedule the work, the crew was several days later than planned. This was only a problem for us because it meant that one of us had to run home from work at lunchtime to put our dog inside, so the lunchtime trip was made for several days before they actually arrived. They fixed the leak on their first trip, and then it took another week longer than planned to get the other repairs done. It is difficult to know about the quality of the work, since we haven't been on the roof, but the leak is definitely stopped. Mr. Combs made it clear that he would be available for larger jobs, such as storm damage covered by insurance claims, should that happen to us. He requested 50% payment up front and the balance at the end. The only unpleasant surprise was the cost of chimney repair/maintenance, but even that wasn't horrible. He requested the final payment in the form of a cashier's check, since his bank tends to hold personal check deposits for 5 days. I certainly hope this business can cover more than 5 days of payroll/materials at a time! I got the impression that the business had been around for some years, and his father had done it before him. In general, roofing outfits around this area appear to be very sketchy. I have heard multiple horror stories from friends/colleagues. I'd give Combs Roofing a solid B+. They were great about keeping us informed - texting/calling/e-mailing with updates, and answering the phone when called (as in, "Are you going to be at the house today?"). It was a small job, and despite that, they did not leave us in the lurch.

Went well, Discussed metal versus shingle roof, desided to go with Shingles, Discussed price and that it might go up depending on how much wood work would need to be done after shibngles were removed, Some wood work was included in origianl price. Old shingles removed, wood work replaced, roof jacked up and rafters supported. 90 % of facial boards replaced. Work was done in a timely manner.Owner also recommended Contractor for Siding and Windows. All has went well so far.

My husband loves the roof, they had everything under cover during a storm, they did a marvelous job, we've had some hail damage, referred us to someone else to get that taken care of. They have a marvelous rating on AL and was pleased with my choice. I definitely use their services again, we absolutely love our roof, it is beautiful.

The job was done well, the only hiccup was communication between us and the office about the day they would return to finish the work.

We were very pleased with the finished product. Combs roofing did a lot of extra work. The front porch was so deteriorated it had to be completely re-framed and attached higher in the roof so that in the future water would drain off of it better. Much of the roof overhang and (soffit/facia) wood all had to be replaced. Vents were put in the soffits. They also recommended that the insulation be replaced while the roof was off. This was subcontracted with a discount they were able to obtain. The chimney which was in bad shape was re-flashed and properly sealed. Existing gutter were readjusted. The owner was kept fully informed of all needed changes and recommendations and cost adjustments. There were no surprises and all cost adjustments were discussed in detail and changes approved by the owner if wanted. The final cost shown includes the insulation and re-framing of the porch plus added purchases such as stain. They were able to work around the wet weather encountered. Mr. Combs was very knowledgeable and professional in his work.
