Not well. Even after measuring twice, all of the windows were the wrong size and had to be re-ordered. They were still the wrong size, but rather than re-order again and delay further, they were able to put frames around them to make them work. One of the Windows was still not right and had to ordered once again. A job that was promised in two weeks took over four months. We would never recommend Champion or use them again. Total incompetence.

Lot of glass was left on the premises from removing the old widows. Calking was dropped on walkway in front of home, walked through and not cleaned up. Champion sent an inspector out and he picked up glass, was going to hire someone to come clean sidewalks, but offered my son $50.00 if he wanted to use my presser washer and clean it which he did. We have had one incident with high winds and either the windows or screens woke us up making a chattering sound. Waiting for the next wind to see if it happens again. I had Champion windows installed in a home in Cumberland Gap. I am not convinced these are champion windows compared to the workman ship on the ones i had before.

Champion did a good job, new siding looks much better than before and seems to be more energy efficient.

Excellent work and quality. Came out and did all the measurements and worked with me to get me the best solution for the old bay window. My house is over 100 years old and so they did everything to make sure that the original wood was not hurt and fixed the siding on the outside of the house from where it jutted out from the bay window support. Everything looks seamless. I'm very happy with the entire process.

I had Champion install new doors on my home, including a storm door on the front entrance. The doors were fine, the installation was satisfactory, although not perfect (the frame for the front door is a little crooked.) Within a year, the spring for the latch on the storm door failed. They replaced it under the warranty. In about another year it failed again. They again replaced it, but informed me that any further warranty calls would be charged a $75 service charge (this is in the written warranty). When the spring failed yet again, I asked them to just mail me one, which they did. It recently failed again. I called and asked them to mail me another one. About three weeks later I called back only to be told that: A) there was no record of my call, and B) there would be a $15 shipping charge. The spring is 5/8 inch long, and just over 1/8 inch diameter. Taped to the inside of a folded piece of light cardboard, it could be mailed in a standard envelope for the price of a single postage stamp. I did find suitable springs online, five for $6.39 -- including shipping. In addition, I was told by the sales people that the main entrance door hinges had ball bearings. One hinge started squeaking badly lately, and had to be lubricated. No other door in the house has ever had a squeak and had to be oiled, regardless of hinge type.

I got 15 windows in my house replaced. They did a great job, I couldn't be happier. They got the job done fast, and the windows are are of great quality. It is now much quieter, and we no longer have any drafts! The workers were very friendly as well.

From meeting with the sales representative to removal of existing sliding glass door and installation of Champion door everything went smoothly.

Overall we were pleased with the presentation service provided. We did not discuss money since we were at the inquiring stage of our project, however, we will be contacting them to get a quote.

We contracted with Champion to replace 11 windows with their double hung windows. Champion had previously replaced 4 other double hung windows for us several years ago. All of the Champion windows were to replace another brand of replacement windows. Half of the other brand windows had fogged after about 10 years (depending on how much sun exposure). The installer was no longer in business so the lifetime warranty was useless. The price for the windows is a little on the high side, but since they have a lifetime warranty which is transferrable to the next owner, that makes a difference. Also Champion is a large enough company that they will stand behind the warranty and still be in business in the future. The work took about a day and a half. The installers were very good and cleaned up after themselves. The window sills tested positive for lead paint so they were compelled to lay down plastic and take extra precautions. The aluminum flashing around the windows is excellent. The installation was much better than the old windows and flashing. The installers are independant contractors that just work for Champion, but they seem to have steady work. The windows seal very well. They reduce the noise also. We had Champion do siding several years ago. Again, the installer did a great job and we have had no problems. In fact, the person that installed our siding and windows several years ago was the same as this time.

The windows they installed appear to be high quality. The are smooth to operate and are well insulated with respect to both the vinyl frames and the double pane window glass. The installation was started on time, and completed both quickly and professionally. Gary Stanfield was informative, professional and low key in providing me with an estimate. The only negative was the price which was the second highest of the 4 estimates I received. Nevertheless, I have been extremely happy with the windows I received. Although it may well be possible to have quality windows installed at a somewhat lower price, I advise performing a comparative analysis of the technical specs of the window frame and glass and of the reputations of the companies before choosing one. Don't make your decision based on price alone.

Probably the easiest home improvement project we have had when dealing with installers. The person came and gave the estimate on time. We put down half of the payment. The windows took 8 weeks to make and deliver to the store, as we were told. They called and set up an installation day, and the installer came out right on time. He did a great job removing the old windows and putting in the new ones. The trim work was very well done too. He also cleaned up and removed the mess.

They did an absolute superb job! Their installer was fantastic, very nice company and personable. I highly recommend them. I was amazed at how nice it looks. They did an excellent job!
