Called them late in the afternoon on a Monday, agreed they'd come out on Wednesday, they came out on Tuesday (which was a bit of an issue because my wife had gone out with our son and wasn't available, had to run home to be available). When they arrived they were very professional, worked quickly and got the job done.

I called and requested an estimate and was provided one the next day. I scheduled the job and the installation was completed three weeks later. The crew arrived at 8:45 A.M. and were finished (to include cleanup) at approximately 11:00 A.M. From the estimate to installation, the job was handled in a professional manner.

I Called Ace at 10:30 a.m. Owner answered the phone, asked enough questions to make sure he brought the necessary tools and parts. He committed to coming out after lunch for the repair. Called me at 1:00 p.m. to make sure I was home; arrived at my house at 1:15p.m. Came in carrying a ladder, ready to work. The repair was done by 1:45 p.m. He honored my $25 coupon printed from Angies List page, and left me with a year's warranty on the spring. I would definitely recommend him, and certainly use him again for any further garage door related needs!

I called trying to get an estimate and he refused to talk to me about it. Wanted 67 dollars upfront just to come out and look at it. Was hard to talk to

We replaced 2 garage doors. ACE was courteous and prompt. They assisted us in making a good choice as to the quality and the style of the garage doors. We compared their price and installation with that of others and found them to be extremely competitive. Once we decided to order the doors they informed us of their arrival and scheduled an installation date. It was a great experience and I have confidence enough in their workmanship to recommend them to others.

Arrived exactly on time, two person work team, complete witll all equipment, tools and parts, Removed all doors and all components and installed new doors with all new components. Time involved was 1000 am to 1130 am for twin garage doors. Cleaned up and removed all old doors and parts from property and never took a break from work. Very professional and knew what they were doing. As I have had the old doors repaired previously, my judgement of this installation crew is much superior to the crew I observed previously. Additionally, the quality of the door and its components (Amarr Garage Doors) was superior than I expected for the estimated and final cost. Very satisfied with the product and installation.

They came out the same day I called them. They came right on time. They fixed some issues with my existing garage door I didn't know were there for the same price they quoted me just for installing the opener I had bought from Amazon.com. It was cheap, took only my lunch hour, and they did a good job. Even programmed remotes and door pad for me. The cosmetic job (wires exposed) was not the best, but it works and it's only my garage ceiling, after all. Nothing dangerous, just not super-attractive. Over all, I was VERY pleased. Great work!

Contracvtor provided estimates of cost and time. No pressuere. Answered every question asked clearly. They ae very punctual, everything went according to schedule. a quiality job, well done, I am satisfied.

I contacted Ace Garage Doors on Monday and they came by that day to provide an estimate and brochure. After requesting quotes from three other garage door companies, it became very apparent that Ace would be my choice. One company wanted to charge a fee for coming out to provide a quote, and one company did not want to stop by at all but just provide a phone quote. The third company did stop by and quote the job but did not offer the additional services that Ace provided such as the PVC flashing and threshold. The first two companies were almost double the price of Ace's estimate and that was for the doors alone, not including the flashing , weather stripping ,and threshold. Needless to say, I contacted Ace on Wednesday and gave them the job. They ordered my doors that day and called me on Friday to let me know the doors had arrived and to schedule the work.We scheduled the job for the following Monday. Ace Garage Doors arrived Monday morning at the exact time scheduled. They removed my old doors, installed the new doors with new tracks, weather stripping, white PVC flashing, threshold and hooked up my existing Craftsman door openers and adjusted them. All this in about 3 hours! My wife was home that day and had told me that things had gone okay with the job. When I arrived home from work, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the doors and services that Ace Garage Doors had provided! This is truly a professional company that provides top quality products and services at a great price! I could not ask for this job to have gone any better! I highly recommend Ace Garage Doors to everyone!

It was a very pleasant experience. It was great to not have to wait for several days for someone to come and fix the garage door.

I called Ace one afternoon because my older garage door opener quit working. They came the next morning, promptly at the time they specified. I had decided that I wanted an opener with a battery back-up, and that had to be ordered. They told me they would call right away and try to get it delivered as soon as possible. In fact, they made the call before they left my driveway. This was a few days before Christmas, and I was doubtful that the installation could be done before the holiday. But two days later, I received a call from their office saying the product had come, and they scheduled the installation for the following day. I was thoroughly pleased with the professionalism and courtesy of the two men who did the estimate and the job. They were very considerate to make sure that everything was completely set up and that I understood how to use it. They checked the door itself and lubricated the springs and hinges. I was also extremely pleased with how responsive this company is and how quickly they were able to complete the needed work. Today, I had a question arise. I called, and the man who answered explaiined what was needed, but he aslo said that if I couldn't work it out, he would do his best to come by here and resolve the issue. ( I want to add that I chose a more expensive product because I had already decided that was what I wanted. On the day of the estimate, they quoted me a much less expensive option, and did not try to influence me at all to spend more.)

Called them first thing that morning .. said they could get to around lunch time ... called about 10:30 to confirm they were on their way .. arrived evaluated the situation ... repaired it and was on their way in less than an hour

Called Ace Garage Doors Monday morning and was told they could come out later that day. They promptly called to let me know that they were available to come over. They were prompt, courteous, did a great job!

I called and reaches a human right away! They asked a few questions such as size of the door and where the springs are located. They said they could come by to look at it later that afternoon but it would probably be just the spring and cost would be $125. Dave called a short time later and said he could be out right away, I told him I just left the house for an appointment but could meet them in 2 hours. When I arrived home at the agreed upon time they were waiting in their truck. They came in and looked at the door, already had the spring with them, and had it fixed within 20 minutes. Great guys, quick and efficient and priced right! I will definetly use them again.

Well, i first tried to use the email function a week and a half ago. Angie's List website said i was guaranteed a response within 2 business hours. I tried that twice and never heard back. So after being gone for a week, i called them directly. Talked to the owner about my issue. They came right out and fixed the problem. Even put an extra spring on my door as a backup in case one breaks in the future. Also gave me some good advice on care and maintenance for my door. Took 15-20 minutes to repair. I thought the service was great, and the cost was within reason. Would definitely recommend them for your garage door repairs, just make sure you call them and not use the email function on Angie's List.

Our garage door has been giving us trouble lately and finally broke on Wed 05/02/12. It was the original garage door on the house so I would say it was a good 20 + years. The garage door cable got caught and when attempting to raise it back up the door literally crushed itself and some of the parts on the door buckled in. After searching Angies list for someone to replace our broken garage door, i settled on Ace garage door company because of their positive reviews. I called the company and in about 4 rings, David Cole, the owner picked up. I explained the problem to him and asked if he gave free estimates because I was trying to determine who to give my business to. He happen to be in my area (Elizabethton) so he said he would stop by no charge and give me an estimate. He arrived in about 10 minutes after our phone call. I knew before he arrived my entire door and some parts where going to have to be replaced. It was apparent the door was not fixable because it was crushed and alot of the steel parts had been bent. When he arrived he confirmed with me the same thing and quoted me $380.00 including parts, labor and taxes. I felt as if it was a very fair price for the work. So we scheduled the repair for the next morning 05/03/12 at 9:00AM. The morning of 05/03/12 they showed up at 9:00 AM and immediately got to work disassembling the old door and parts. Within approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes or so the new door/parts were installed. I was really impressed with their work and the time they did it in. He pretty much replaced every part of my garage door except for the motor system. I thought it was pretty awesome that we got a new garage door system for $380.00. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is has a broken garage door or needs service and repair. Also he provides a (1) year warranty on his labor.

I moved into a new house and when it got very cold, I noticed the cold air was coming from the door area. After looking more closely, there were large gaps around the insulated garage door which explains why the garage was so cold all the time and also the room above it. I called this business from the yellowpages and they came out right away to look at the problem. Then they came back in a few days and fixed the problem. The wrong rack was used when the garage door was first installed and as a result it didn't shut close enough to the wall for the existing weatherstripping to do it's job. What a difference this has made with my heating bills.
