Thomas Heating and Air out of Morristown/ Jefferson City was nice enough to scam a senior citizen in Baneberry. They claimed to be serving my mother's unit since 2012. 2024 when we had the unit checked by another company, he advised us the unit had not been properly serviced in 7 yrs or more. There were holes all over the unit including into the gas line. If Thomas Heating and Air had been truly serving it like they said they would have found these issues. We sent a complaint into the state and Thomas's did respond- they blamed us for not getting the unit serviced for 1 yr, the extreme weather and tried to say that ac units don't last up to 20 years anymore. They are now refusing to answer the state of TN. However, any consumers that ask about them will be given the info. If you have used with success that is great, however we did not and with the numbers of new people moving in, we want people to be aware! Companies should not be out to scam a Senior Citizen! Shame on you1

I requested a quote using both Angieslist and the contact me form on their website. I never heard from them via phone or email. I also tried to call them, but I was still unable to talk to anyone. I finally gave up and went to another company.

They have been around a very long time. He is first class. They are good people. I enjoyed the way they used electronics and they used their phones and took pictures of the panel so that they have all of the information on file. They don't have to second guess. They are a fine company. As soon as they got the part they called and replaced it. These guys were very good to my wife and didn't "down play" her, which I appreciate. I recommend them. I will set a contract up with them. Their prices are good.

They are wonderful people to deal with. I'm very happy with everything from them. They did a wonderful job, they did everything exactly as they quoted and like I said it's been three four years since we bought it and they're here twice a year they call ahead they make appointments. When they say they're gonna be here they show up, they're very professional.

Service is always great. Would have preferred a better time range. We had an after 5 appt. And the tech came at 730. Other than that we have always been pleased.

A+. The equipment was top notch. Excellent service. Polite people. They worked steadily for two days. Very prompt. Total of 3 men.

I was given 3 different estimates for 3 different units, and they explained the differences in the units and answered all my questions. On the day of the setup they arrived on time and worked diligently throughout the day; it took about 6 or 7 hours for 3 techs to replace the heat pump outside and the air handler inside and modify some duct work in the attic. All of the techs were professional. The only part of this process that could have been better is their communication throughout this process. After deciding which unit to purchase on a Monday they told me they would have to order the unit and the install would probably be on that Thursday or Friday. I had told them that I needed to know the day of the install so I could arrange to be of work; I had not heard from them by Wednesday so I called and they then told me the unit was on back order and the install would be the following Monday or Tuesday. Again, I had to call them on Friday to find out the status of the ordered unit and day of installation instead of the contacting me with that information. They completed the installation on the following Tuesday.

He replaced the rental heat pump very quickly and efficiently, and had it up and running in just a couple of business days. We wanted a much more efficient hybrid unit for our own home, and despite the fact they had never installed one before, they got us some air conditioning, which is very important in Tennessee in late June, the very next day after the unit arrived. They finished up the installation in a timely manner, and we are very happy with the job they did. We were also happy with the price which was about $2000.00 less than we were quoted a year previously by another heating/ac contractor. We would definitely go to them again if we have any other furnace issues.

They arrived on time and with equipment necessary to perform the work. All were professional and seemed very competent in the field. No time was wasted in the removal and replacement of the unit. Job was completed in a very neat and professional manner and site was left clean and in good order. I would heartily reccomend this company for any work that you need done, both installation and service.

I was called when the technician was in route to my house. He was very professional and discussed his findings with me when he was finished. Thomas Heating and Cooling has done all of my heating and cooling work for the past 10 years and I am a very satisfied customer.

The service technician arrived on time and had a neat appearance and a professional attitude. I had a copy to the check list he would be using and he did everything on the check list. He took his time and did a thorough coil cleaning. He discussed his findings with me and needless to say I was happy to hear that my dual fuel system was operating as it should.

They come twice a year to just look at our unit and see if everything is alright for the seasons. They check the filters and also check to see there are no leaks or carbon monoxide. They check the units and the vents to see if it's all working properly. Their receptionist is very nice. They call and remind us that its time and they are very nice. The people who come are always very clean and the way they identify themselves when they come is good. Their price is reasonable. If you have a problem they come right away and they always come within half an hour of when they say they'll be there. We've used them for several years.
