Good. it wasnt the big deal i had expected

They evaluated my plumbing and gave it a clean bill of health for the potential buyers of my house. Buyers bought my house and everybody is happy.

After trying to call several local emergency plumbers in the Dyer, TN area and finding out that they are "with family" or something to that effect and answered the phone with "Hello?" we called Tim Ferguson Plumbing out of Jackson, TN. They were prompt in forwarding my call to the technician who called me right away. He said it would take about an hour to get here because he needed to pick up a water heater at the shop. He was here in under an hour and began working right away. We already feared we needed a new water heater and he confirmed our fears. Because he was forward thinking enough to bring one with him, the replacement commenced immediately. The only regret I have is the cost of the water heater. After comparing prices online to similar models, I realized I paid about $400 more for the actual water heater. Other than that, the service was excellent, prompt, and attention was definitely paid to detail, including the use of shoe covers to protect our carpet. Although the service cost more than I wanted, I will use them in the future for any other needs I may run across.

Water leaking was noticed beneath the kitchen sink.The turn off valve would not turn so that the water could be turned off.The water leak was associated with the tubing for the diswasher; and would leak only if the dishwasher was running.The price estimate to completely take care of the problems associated with the leak was more than could be spent at the present time.We had the defective turn/off valve replaced so we could turn on and off the water supply allowing us to take a few more days to get the rest of the items fixed/reinstalled.Would like to have had the plumber do all the work because he does a good job; but in order to keep the cost down we just had the on/off replaced and did the remainder of the work over the next few days.

Very impressed with their promptness. I had an appointment with in 3 hours of my first call - right in the middle of a record breaking heat wave. The serviceman showed up with in minutes of his scheduled time. He quickly diagnosed my problem, explained my options, and actually recommended one of the lest expensive options. I called them to return a second time 4 1/2 hours latter when the house still felt hot. He doubled checked my unit, topped off the coolant and told me it may take another 2 hours to cool the house since the outside temps were almost 100. I was not charged for the second service call. (My house cooled in 2 more hours just as he predicted)

At our first indication of a problem with our A/C system (which was about 18 years old), I was asked to obtain estimates for repair. Of all the companies I contacted for estimates, Tim Ferguson's Comfort Specialist Jared Counce spent the most time with us as he fully examined the current system before submitting the estimate. The estimate was a solid estimate--no hidden additional costs that weren't addressed on the front end, so that eliminated any financial surprises when the work was done and the invoice submitted for payment. He also gave us some options to consider--a short-term fix, or a replacement unit that would be far more energy efficient with energy savings overall in the days to come--and the decision was strictly ours to make. We chose to replace the old unit. Over the course of two months, two more of those old units died, and each time, Jared came out exactly as he did the first time, assessing the old system first, then giving us options on repair or replacement. He never assumed that we would just automatically purchase a new system. When yet another unit quit working this week, I called Jared again. This time, after his examination, we didn't need to replace the unit! It was simply a part that had burned out. It was repaired within a matter of a couple of hours, proving to us that the company is not just opportunistic or greedy. Tim Ferguson's will do what's 'right' for the situation and for the customer, and that alone speaks volumes for this company! I was very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy and prompt response time from Jared each and every time I've needed to call him with another cooling issue we were having. He is both appreciative of our business and sensitive to the unfortunate string of costly replacements we've had to hit our business so far this summer. The pros and cons of each unit we considered were reviewed in detail, thus helping us to make the best decision we possibly could. The warranties were explained in detail, along with exactly what Tim Ferguson's part would be if we did incur any problems with the new units. We are totally satisfied with every contact with Tim Ferguson's company, from his receptionist's greeting ("How can I make you smile today?") to Jared to each member of the work crew to the technicians we've met. A true 'stand-up' company in these times, that stands behind their word and their work.

We were nervous about drilling holes in floor, attaching pipes to existing plumbing, and I was nervous about the dirty mess to deal with afterward........not to mention broken floor tiles to replace....just the whole process. Expecting this work to take a week perhaps, we were delighted to have it completed in ONE DAY. There was some clean up of course but nothing like what I was prepared for. I was so dreading this but afterward wished I had not waited so long to do it. I will use them now for any plumbing problems.....they have won my confidence.

Excellent rate for service call - other vendors want additional fees to look at another issue. Will definitely use services in the future.

i had a hot water heater go out on a thursday. i called to get them to come by and the were busy till Monday. i decided to wait. they were suppose to be by at 3 pm but called at 11:15 am and asked if they could come on.i met them at the house and received a quote for a new hot water heater installed and repair on a faucet. The quote for a 40 gal electric hotwater heater was $920. the faucet quote was $149. i was shocked. i know hot water heater was only $340 at lowes and home depot. they were charging me almost $600 for labor. needless to say i did not get one from them. for this price i will not be calling the company back for any quotes

Without their expert advice, we could be replacing piping, sheet rock and floors! We love our house!

I've used them twice. They put stuff in my house and my rental house. The pricing was good and the customer service was great. They were the best price.

Tim Ferguson Plumbing also provided me with a letter for my realtor explaining the situation with the pipes so that I could continue with the sale of my home.

They were quite efficient. The people that came were knowledgeable about what they were doing. They didn't waste a lot oftime and showed up on time. They did the job pretty quick and left.

The last time he came out there was no charge because a year ago changed our toilet for us. We had a little leak and they came out that afternoon to fix that immediately. So last visit was no charge but the first visit was around $170 to replace the toilet which did not include the toilet as we provided that. He probably did it within an hour and half. He cleaned up after himself. He carried it from the garage and it looked so heavy. My husband offered him help and he wouldn’t let him help but we were more than satisfied with him.

They came right out when I called them. I didn't have to wait several days. I was shocked at how much it costs.

Very good experience. Technician was very thorough and polite. Told me an exact cost before beginning work. Very professional and made quick work of the problem. They go through great effort to clean up any mess, even wearing plastic coverings on their shoes to ensure mud isn't tracked into the home. Excellent service.

It's just a well run company. They are not the cheapest but I got the value of what I paid for. They've done one plumbing thing for me as well.

What else can I say... Well, they will be the only plumbers that we will ever call on in the future

We had a horrible time trying to find a Plumber to come and fix our mistakes, :) however Ferguson plumbing showed up with the right attitude and experience and did a fantastic job.

They do GREAT work. would highly recommend them to anyone in the area. If your looking for a reliable company for pluming and air conditioning or heating, look no futher. Tim Ferguson is the one. Mr. Ferguson gave us a prompt estimate, which seemed reasonable. The following day, he removed the toilet in question, carried the new one we had purchased earlier from the garage to the far end of the house by himself, and installed it in approximately an hour and a half. He left no mess what-so-ever along with a new toilet that has functioned perfectly and also disposed of the toilet he removed at no cost to us. His total charge was $173.10 and we would call Mr. Ferguson if we need a plumber in the future without reservation. We are more than pleased with his work.
