The first time they came out the job was very sloppy. I called and they came back out and fixed it properly and did a good job.

It was good. We have insurance on the house and that is who they sent out. It is always $60 a call. I don't know what they charge. They were here when they said they would be. They did fairly quick work and it was good work.

They are good, and reliable. I do more big big stuff, and they are good home electrical people. They are very professional.They have done several things for me. They are very attentive. Their price is a little high, but not outrageous.

Even though I was on the outskirt of their service area, they were very responsive to me, very polite and courteous and had a technician out that same day! There was no additional charge for the trip out here to Savannah. There were no hidden fees and I watched them as they did a full break down of my unit and they spent a couple of hours going through it. The guys that came out were professional, polite and knowledgeable. I decided to sign up for their "club" as it was a small increase from the $89 I was already going to pay and secures me another visit in the Fall when it is time to "tuneup" the heat. They did mention that I had some minor cleaning that would need to be done that was outside the tuneup, and the charge was minimal, so I had them do it while they were here. The best service I have had from any Heating and AC service company!

They were very knowledgeable and they know what they were doing. They told us exactly what they will do. They told us the problems that they found other than what they were doing. I was very satisfied with their work.

From the moment Susan answered the phone and said, "It's a great day at Tim Ferguson Plumbing, Air, and Electric! How can we make your day great?" I knew there was something different about this company. (I'm not sure if that was EXACTLY what she said, but something very similar to that.) More than likely, when you call a plumbing, air, and electric company, you have something going on that probably isn't making your day great, but the way Susan answered the phone caused me to momentarily forget this. I called about 8:05 and she said that they would have someone out to see me right away. It really was right away! She said that the technician would call me when he was headed to my home, and sure enough, Albert called to do just that. I'm not sure about you, but I always feel the need to watch over the shoulder of any repairmen/women to mentally document what they see, as if my untrained eye would be able to "catch" them trying to sell me snake oil. Albert was very professional and went straight to work diagnosing the problem; it wasn't too long before I relaxed and didn't feel any need to hover. Albert wasn't trying to figure out how to come up with a big problem in order to generate an expensive solution; he was simply trying to assess what was wrong and to do what was needed, nothing more, nothing less. It turned out that my unit needed a part replaced. It was under a manufacturer's warranty, so I didn't have to pay for the part, just the labor. It wasn't too long before the part was delivered to the house so Albert could install it, and not too long after that before my AC was blowing cool air. Before he did any of the work, he thoroughly explained the cost of the work so there would be no surprises at the end. I also used the coupon they have on Angie's List to say 10% off the service fee - and that really helped a lot. Did i want to wake up on a Monday, have no AC, and have to spend about $300 to have it fixed? No one would say "yes" to that; however, I can say that Tim Ferguson PAE made the experience as pleasurable as possible under the circumstances and I would recommend them to anyone who asked.

The technician was prompt, courteous, knowledgeable. He finished both jobs with blazing speed. These guys are (in my opinion) somewhat pricey, but there is no denying their quality work.

All I needed was for the cold water side of the washer to be broken lose and then replaced with a new one. The men would not do that, since they wanted to replace both faucets with new faucets. I siad that we did not use the hot water side for anything and that both faucets would not be necessary. They insisted to do it their way. They gave me a price for the replacement but I didn't realize that this would be doubled since they were replacing both. After they finished with the replacement the guys were like vaccum cleaner salesmen, trying to sell us something else, and then when we said no, they had something else. My wife and I had been frustrated enough, and just wanted these people to leave !

They referred me to Parker Refrigeration ( Tn. Lic># G030227122) in Memphis. Thurman Parker came to my house for a service and evaluation call on my air conditioner and promptly ripped me off of $875. He originally tried to charge $1675 for installation of 16 lbs. of freon which subsequently leaked completely out in the next 4hrs. We called John Conway H&A who came out and discovered there was a massive leak in the system . My complaint relates to the employees of Tim Ferguson recommending Parker Refrigeration directly , as he was their relative and was completely honest and dependable. Now I only called Tim Ferguson H&A because he was so highly rated by Angie's List. Now I have to reevaluate Angie's List because I certainly can't afford another fiasco like this last experience. My only last question for Angie's List, What would you suggest I do for either some form of retribution from Parker Refrigeration or to have them reported. Thanks Bill Ferguson

We have an 17yo outdoor furnace/AC unit, and it was a little weak in heating the home this fall (like it couldn't get over 60deg), so we had it inspected, and found out it was shot... holes in the heat exchanger [CO], motors dying, the whole works pretty well kaput. Ferguson's crew dispatched a great supervisor who sized up the situation and made a recommendation on the spot. We're staying in the home, so we went with a SEER 13 Amana vs a seer 15 (same product but the Amana has a better warranty and stainless heat exchanger... a must for outdoor installs). Looking on the web, the price was pretty good, and they tossed the cost of the inspection in for free, installed my automated thermostat for no charge, and also fixed some leaks in the supply ducts, put a new pad for the unit, as well as updating the gas pipe feed line. In all, there was no upcharging or nickel and diming... One quote and it was done. I probably could have shopped around, but the time and the headache probably wouldn't have been worth it compared to the team effort I got from Tim Ferguson's team. The onsite team (Jared, Albert and Justin) did a great job, and had it all installed by end of the day. Yesterday, I couldn't get the home above 55deg... today, it's 65 and solid and the unit is a lot quieter to boot. The only issue we had was part of what we wanted to see was duct inspection and cleaning... We were promised over the phone that the inspection would happen and the cleaning would be done if needed, but the technicians said that Ferguson has never done that work. Jared responded immediately when we questioned that, and promised to follow up with the office staff to clear up any misunderstandings about what duct cleaning is and isn't and that TFerguson doesn't do duct cleaning. But that initial promise knocked down the overall rating.

It went very well. Mike was a great service technician and representative of Tim Ferguson We had a long (3 hour) discussion on several items we have found in the house, and scheduled additional work to deal with problems found during the inspection. On a couple, we decided that I could fix them without the plumber being involved. He also pointed out several items we needed to be aware of (the most important was old galvanized waste pipes) also signed up for their premium on call service, which drops service costs on repairs by 25%, and provides a 2 year warranty on all work, vs 1 year for normal. With 100 year old house, I feel that the work may never be perfect the first time, so this is a good deal. He then asked if there was anything else... and he took the time to inspect and start our fireplace inserts, and found an old insert that he advised we NOT use as it was not designed to be used in an unvented fireplace (really old). Great service, spent a lot of time, explained the work and the potential costs. We scheduled him to come in at a later time to do the real work and full inspection, as the time was late, and premium service contract allowed for no add'l service call costs.

Very prompt and responsive, Price was a little expensive, but they have a 'members' plan that allows you to get a discount for an annual fee. For our older home, that appears to have a lot of 'non-professional' plumbing, this may be our option.

They do great work but are expensive

Sales rep was professional, measured area, and recommended a size upgrade from 3.5 to 4 tons. He called to follow up while I called for a few other bids, none of which were timely. His crew showed up on time and did job as advertised. We noticed the improvement from the more efficient higher BTU unit almost immediately. Looking forward to cool relief this hot summer.

They were very professional in their sales and bidding process. They delivered exactly what they said they would deliver and completed the job on time. Their installers were friendly, very professional and considerate of hour household during installation. Their cleanup was excellent as were all other results.

They are really nice people. They did a great job.

I've used Tim Ferguson Plumbing three times from 2009-2011. The first time was to replace my toilet seal, the second time to thaw a frozen water pipe, and the third time to unclog my kitchen sink drain line. Each time, they've scheduled me promptly, and the technicians have arrived within the scheduled window and been very professional. The jobs were all completed properly the first time, and I have no complaints.

2 Men came to my house to give me estimates on some electrical projects I want done. They told me they would call me with an estimates on Monday. That was almost 3 weeks ago. I'm still waiting. I will not need anything from them now.

I have used this company about 3-4 times now and have always had a good experience. They arrive when they say they will and they are very conscious of cleanliness. Their service fee is really reasonable. I have always been satisfied with their work. There was one time that they needed to come back to correct a problem and didn't charge another service fee.

A few days before my annual 4th of July party, our air conditioning went out! I panicked because I figured it would be days -- long, hot days -- before someone would be able to come out and I envisioned having to cancel the party and swelter in the almost 100 degree heat. I called Tim Ferguson Heating and Air because I had used their plumbing service before and had been very pleased. They were very busy, but the customer service rep/scheduler was able to send the technicians out the same day! I was so relieved. They arrived on time and found that all of the freon had leaked from the unit. They got it running again, but explained that it was time to replace the unit because there was not a permanent fix to the problem. We had a freon leak a few years earlier, so we knew that we'd probably have to replace the unit pretty soon anyway. It was going to be about a week before we could get the new unit installed, but they said to call if it felt like it wasn't cooling well enough in the meantime. About a week later, they installed the new unit and it's been working great! We also had them to install a new digital thermostat that I love. It keeps the house at a steady temperature and kicks on either the heat or air to maintain that temperature. It's been great this fall when we've had really warm days and cold nights. No more fighting over the thermostat setting! The guys were very professional and explained everything we needed to know about the new unit. I also appreciated that they used shoe covers so they didn't track dirt through my house. They were also careful not to trample the landscaping when they installed the unit and they cleaned up after themselves. Those may seem like little things, but to me it shows that they take the extra effort. And that's what customer service is all about.

Very pleased with their service. Punctual, professional. Their charges matched other estimates that I had obtained. I appreciate that their staff clearly identifies themselves (marked trucks,uniforms, business cards). To keep from tracking in dust they put on shoe covers each time they entered the house. They did what they said they were going to do when they said they were going to do it.
