Excellent. I have used their plumbing services for over two years. They are on time, do good work, and clean up. Shane Stribling is professional and helpful. Prices seem reasonable for service provided.

I think they are okay. Nothing sticks out to me I guess. They just seemed expensive. They actually came out and I had a contract with them for service calls and it’s like $20 for a service call. Normally it’s 70 or 80 and they said I was outside of the contract which I can’t remember if I was or I wasn’t. I think I was either close or in it but they honoured it anyway which I guess a sign but I went with someone else to finish up the service. I would consider them but the cost is really a sticking point for me. They are a bigger company. They are regional or national but they have grown and not using a single city market and I think they are based out of Jackson. They bought the company I used to use all the time.

I called and simply asked if they could give me a ballpark figure to install a "C" wire for my H/A unit to install a Wi-Fi thermostat. They will only give me an estimate if they made a house call for +$85. I asked if it would be in the $50, $200, $500, $1000 range, but they wouldn't give me even that much of an estimate without their visit, errr. fee. This kind of inflexibility doesn't bode well for good sense customer service in my opinion.

They arrived when they said they would, did the work without issue after explaining everything and cleaned up afterwards. They were pleasant while in my house, wore shoe covers and straightened up everything they had to displace to do their work. Once installed they tested the equipment to be sure it worked properly. Price was reasonable for two to three men spending nearly six hours at my home.

Showed up on time and resolved the problem quickly.

Electrician and assistant were courteous & knowledgeable. Finished working on project in less than 2 hours.

Needed pressure test done on house to turn gas on. Said they'd be out next day. I asked for quote, because this is fairly standard service call. I was informed that is impossible because of the variables involved, but the service tech would give me quote onsite. I asked for a range of pricing, still a no go.Trip charge minimum is $65 or so. No problem, lets get it done.Guy comes next day to house-knowing utilities are not on (he knows this, because this is why he's here) but didn't bring generator to power his equipment. Great. He then gets right to work and called for generator which was delivered to him. I was in middle of several other things and didn't bother to ask him about price. When I did, he says "It's $488, always is...". "What? $488 for a pressure test? I just had my electrical inspection done for $150, and I get it, there's more work involved in a pressure test so I expect a somewhat higher price but man!". I was not happy. I called the office right away and said I would pay $300, and no more. That was ripping people off, especially when they have a set fee but aren't willing to inform people until they're onsite. How does the lady answering the phones not know but the guy who is onsite knows an exact cost? They agreed to the $300. I never heard back from them after that. I called two days later to find out status of test and if they'd submitted paperwork to utility company (part of their deal). She said she'd call me back next day when the city inspector was supposed to go out. She never called back. I finally got through to JEA, and they said yes we have the permit on file and can turn utilities on. Mind you, Tim Ferguson never called again. JEA comes out to turn utilities on and guess what? Tim Ferguson left the lines off the appliances (i.e. gas lines disconnected and capped off at water heater etc) and left their pressure meter installed on gas meter. So the gas company STILL can't turn gas on. I had an employee waiting for 6 hours for this utility company to show up, and when they do, we still can't turn gas on because of Tim Ferguson.The utility company now has to wait for Tim Ferguson to come and remove their tools and reassemble my stuff. What? Why was this left this way? Why can't they return a phone call? Why can't they simply finish the job? I called this morning to attempt to rectify and finish this situation when she tells me that the service manager will have to call me. Yeah no phone call. It's now been over a week and I still have no heat in the house. These people are inept. UPDATE: A new technician was assigned on 2/25/16 named Jonathan and he was very responsive and followed through with the project and thank you for following through and fixing the issue and being super communicative. Due to the punctuality and professionalism of Jonathan I have bumped up the companies grade. I would hire this company again if I could continue to get Jonathan as a technician or someone else with as high of a caliber of service as Jonathan.

There was a little confusion over a fee but Danny helped to clear it up. The HVAC tech waived the service charge because I joined the service club but the plumber wouldn't do the same even though they're both Tim Ferguson employees. They were both nice and the job was completed in 6 hours.

Justin performed my initial service on the hvac at my new home. He explained everything well and was very efficient. I signed up for their service club which seems to be a great deal.

They're the best. They were here when they said they would be. They were very professional. The best customer service, answered all my questions.

Called ahead, showed up on time. Very professional, very accommodating and answered all questions. Fixed my problem promptly.

The two workers showed up within one hour of my call. They knew exactly how to fix both items taking no more than thirty minutes to complete the job. They were both professional and responsive to my questions. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and would call Tim Fergerson again for any electrical problems in the future. I was very happy with the experience we had with Tim Ferguson. Paul came out promptly when we called and gave us an estimate which was the final cost of the project. The work was scheduled to be performed as soon as possible. Rick and Joe showed up when they were scheduled and completed the work professionally. I would recommend Tim Ferguson.

My septic line was overflowing and running out above the ground, which would indicate a tank/field line problem. Zach and Ricky came out and evaluated my options, and gave me a recommendation on someone to repair/replace that system. They also repaired a leaking outdoor faucet by taping and resealing the connection to the water pipe. Even though it doesn't sound like they had to do much, their service and professionalism were invaluable. I am a single mom, and sometimes not knowing what to do or who to call seems like an insurmountable obstacle. Knowing that I have this company to call when I am facing a plumbing issue is a great comfort to me, and I will definitely be calling when I have future plumbing issues. Zach and Ricky were very professional, polite, and respectful. They put shoe covers on before they entered my house, and were very conscientious about picking up any materials used during the job. They listened tirelessly as I explained (in my best layman's terms) the situation and what I thought my options might be. They informed me that one of the options I had been contemplating did not conform to code, and that was a tremendous help. I was able to discard that option and head down the path to resolving my septic tank/line problem. I cannot stress enough how valuable it is to work with people that make me feel comfortable and valued for my business. This company did that. I had previously called 3 other plumbing services. Two of them never returned my calls, and the other one didn't give me a time estimate for coming out to look at the problem. When I called Tim Ferguson Plumbing Air & Electric, the phone was answered by a very nice lady and she told me that a technician would be at my house within 3 hours. They kept their word. Prompt, courteous and professional service!!! Since I am an Angie's List member, they waived the charge for repairing the outdoor faucet. I paid the service call fee, and that was it! I was excited to hear that Angie's List members also receive a 10% discount.

Albert was prompt and professional. He checked the unit and found that thermostat was set for gas heat instead of heat pump. He explained how heat pump worked and how to get heat on the extremely cold days. He never made us feel stupid. Attempted to use the Angie's list member coupon that states. Angie's List members get 10% off your service call. We were told that the discount was for actual service (parts and labor) and not for the service call. The coupon was mentioned at the time the appointment was made. Spoke with Staff at Tim Ferguson and was immediately given a refund for the amount of the coupon. Was informed that the service technicians would be re-educated about the coupons. Customer service is fantastic and would give an A++++ for customer service.

I have the company heavily advertised on radio and went and looked at them on Angie's list for reviews.Asked for them to come and give me a quote for fixing leaks in existing gas lines and possibly adding a addition gas line connection for a stove. They told me a $59.00 service charge was necessary for them to come out and quote. They did their inspection and worked up the quote. It was over $2000 dollars and if i wanted the additional connection it would be over $3000. They are a big company and I am sure the overhead/margins are very high. Had another company come and quote $700. Will we how this company performs. Regards

Mike and Mike arrived on time and were very professional. They listened to what I needed and followed through. They both listened to and answered any questions I had. They used the shoe booties to protect my floors which was nice. Young Mike (the son) took a look at our non vented gas fireplace and helped get it lit and verified it was safe to use. He felt he really didn't do anything so he did not charge me for the fireplace. Mike (the Dad) worked on checking on each furnace. He found a problem with one of our thermostats and suggested the correct type for our furnace. He also recommended a filter. I was very pleased that they came out the same day I called for service. The special they had going ($89 per unit for service), the fact this company does background checks, drug testing etc so they know who they are sending into your home along with the same day service made them my number one choice. I have seen other winter tune up specials which are less which is why I only gave a B on price however I feel it was a fair price. The company has a Comfort Club which is a plan that keeps your service fees down. It seemed like a good deal but we had already renewed our home warranty. It is a sales pitch but I'm sure if you are not interested in a plan you could tell them and they would not push it.

The provider came within the hour of our phone call. He immediately found the problem and took care of it. The people who work for Tim Ferguson are always nice, polite, cover their shoes before entering our home, and explain what the problem is and approximately how much it will cost to fix it. We have been using them for both plumbing and electrical problems for a couple of years and have never been disappointed. In fact, we had a plumbing problem one Saturday evening, and they sent someone as soon as they could get to our house. We were so happy and relieved that someone would come to our house on a Saturday late in the evening. We cannot say enough positive things about Tim Ferguson's staff - both in the office and the workers who come to our home. Susan answers the phone and no matter what kind of problem you have, she will make you smile and will do whatever she can to help you. These are the kind of people you like to do business with. They are the best!!!

I've been a long-standing customer of Rick Stone plumbing, heating and a/c. I had the annual contract which included semi-annual maintenance of the cooling and heating systems in the spring and fall, respectively. Mr. Stone retired and his business was bought by the Tim Ferguson company. The office manager at Tim Ferguson called me up to schedule my fall maintenance before my contract expired, which was nice. Michael the heating guy was gregarious and friendly, and did his job with enthusiasm. I enjoyed getting to know him. While he was there I mentioned a bathroom sink that was getting on my nerves with a slow drain in spite of lots of Drano. So the next day Shane (a certified master plumber) and John came out and figured out that the problem was that the pipe was coming out of the wall at an angle instead of straight out. So they cut thru a little bit of the cabinet (delicately) and replaced the piece in question. It worked! Voilá! One more box to check off before my in-laws arrive! John and Shane are mature, polite and professional. Shane waived the service fee as a courtesy because of my still-standing contract with the Rick Stone company. The drain clearing was priced at a discount as well -- $89 instead of $119. And even though it turned out to be a structural repair instead of just a drain clearing, he did not raise the price. I thought that was nice. The Tim Ferguson company is definitely making an effort to win the loyalty of the Rick Stone customers. They want to sell the annual contract, and it does seem like a good deal. All the contracts offer a free annual service call for each system involved, plus other perks. I'll discuss it with my husband but we will probably go for it.

After sixteen years in this house, this is the best plumbing service we have had, perhaps the best service period. We decided to use Angie's List after using "word-or-mouth" services all these years, trying to save money by using cheaper, local providers. But they've all turned out to be, after all, only second-rate people, I suppose. Good-intentioned, but not really knowledgeable. Trying to save you money, but always saying things like, "You can't really fix that," or "You'll have to live with that." These folks from Tim's know what they are doing, they tell you straight out what they can and cannot do, what it will cost and it isn't as expensive as you might think. I really don't understand why some people rate them "B" for cost. Our home-owners insurance charges us $85 for a service call; Tim's only cost us $59 for a service call. And the costs they quoted us, compared with the charges we have encountered from locals in the past, people who know less and are supposed to be saving us money, are not much different. I don't understand what these people giving "B" ratings, or less, expect. Do they want service and repairs for free? The quotes we received were more than reasonable. Replacing all the shower fixtures for $450? Or replacing a faucet for less than $200? That seems entirely reasonable these days. It may sound expensive, but try doing it yourself. And knowing that a real professional is doing it, with a real guarantee, not some local yee-haw who might not ever show up again...that's a real pleasure. No, we'll never go back to the yellow pages again. And we won't be calling anyone else for our plumbing problems again, either.
