SECURITY DOORS OF JACKSON

Unfortunately, in choosing a company to do this work, we opted for the lowest estimate when searching for security doors. Throughout the process, it was extremely difficult to contact the owner, Mr. Jerry Newman. In fairness, I must say that he and his workmen were courteous and installed the doors by the agreed-upon date and at the estimated price. However, problems with the quality of the merchandise soon presented themselves....not long after the 60-day warranty had expired. During last summer, we noticed that the vinyl frame which held the glass had started to warp. In a few more months the bottom strip had warped completely and the glass was slipping. We contacted Mr. Newman, who provided us with another bottom framing strip (which be retrieved from a old door in his workshop, still containing bits of broken glass .) Although my husband installed this replacement, it soon also warped. I wrote to Mr. Newman in December of 2012, expressing our dissatisfaction. He never responded to our concerns. This week the glass has slipped three inches from the top of the door, and we are faced with a potentially expensive repair or replacement of a product that should last for years. This company used inferior materials on our doors. In addition, we were quite disappointed in its poor Customer Service . We wish we had paid a little more and gone to a more reputable provider.
