Description of Work: I used them for plumbing but they are outrageously expensive and not very thorough. They don't take care of the underlying issues and then you have to pay an additional fee to have them back out to fix the issue again.

+ -1 moreThe guys showed up and they were nice. There were too many people on the job so some sat around while the others did the work. I had to show what I needed done more than once. All I had were simple leaks. The cost was $800! I was stunned. Imagine my surprise when I realized that none of it was fixed - seriously NONE. Here I am again looking for someone to come out and fix my small plumbing issues. I know who won't be doing it!
Description of Work: I had many small jobs around the house that I needed to have done. My husband could have done them if he had time, but he did not so I called Ror-Rooter.

+ -1 moreI was in desperate need of a plumber one Friday afternoon. I called multiple plumbers and everyone was booked up. I called roto rooter several times and never got an answer. I left a message and never got a return phone call.

+ -1 moreIt took them a few months, but they finally refunded my $100. So they did do the right thing, eventually.
Description of Work: It was supposed to be a free estiamte. But after puttng a hose in the ground & finding mud on the end when they pulled it out, they gave me a $2300 estimate & charged me $100 for the call. I paid the $100 then called their customer service dept to complain. They did nothing. I reported them to Angie's List.

+ -1 moreThe work overall went very well. We discovered the faucet was broken on a Saturday. Since Roto-Rooter advertises 24 hour service, I called and spoke to an after hours person. He made me an appointment for Monday afternoon. However, when the Roto-Rooter service person came on Monday, he had the wrong type of faucet. We rescheduled for Tuesday afternoon. He called to let me know he was on his way before arriving at my house and showed up at the agreed time. He dug up the old faucet, cleaned up the debris and installed the new faucet. The work was neat and professional. We would use Roto-Rooter again.
Description of Work: Replaced a broken outdoor yard faucet. The work involved digging up the old faucet and breaking up the concrete that the faucet was set into.
