Merry Maids of Jackson

I paid $160 to have my mother's house cleaned. She lives alone and house was not very messy at all. I expected it to smell all clean and fresh but not the case. No bad smells, just when I walked in, I wouldn't have gotten the idea the house had been "thoroughly cleaned." I looked around and found that the living room appeared not to have been cleaned at all. I took pictures of bookshelves that had obviously not even been dusted - it was very easy to tell from the photos, and if you can see that in photos, it has to be obvious. I called Merry Maids and they asked me to forward the pictures to them, which I did. I told them I wasn't pleased at all and asked that someone get back with me after looking at the pics. I have STILL not heard a word back from Merry Maids. They claim to have a satisfaction guarantee, but obviously do not - no one even called to discuss it with me. I have gone to their web site twice and contacted them through that method - still absolutely no response. Not only that, but I am still getting their emails, even though I have unsubscribed 3 times!!! I don't know what can be done, but they should not be allowed to advertise a "satisfaction guaranteed" policy when they don't even attempt to solve customers' issues. BTW - Since this happened, I have told several people about it and have not heard anyone sing their praises. I don't know of anyone else who actually tried to get them to respond to issues, but none of the ones I spoke with who have used Merry Maids was pleased with their prices or services.

I just think they took alot of smoke breaks. They didn't however leave their butts to be picked up. They did take them with them. I was surprised also that they didn't clean the dirty spots on the carpets. I was just really disappointed overall for the money paid.

Overall I was not satisfied. I had to go and re-clean myself after they left.

I heard about them through television. I have been using them for about six months now. I have two ladies for an hour. They do just anything I ask them to do and they are nice girls. They seem fine to me and they both are friendly. I have no problem with them at all. Their price seems fair to me. They do a good job.

They are really good and really professional. Everything is spic-and-span when they get through. Two or three maids come in and get it done fast. The price is less if you use them regularly.

I called, they came, gave me a quote, etc. not very complicated.
