The work was started 3-9-15. Mr. Birl said it would take about a week. It is now 7-20-2015. The contract called for 4 payments of 2000.00. 1st 2000.00 down, after piers poured joist started 2000.00, when back completed and front started 2000.00, when front completed and ducts wrapped the final 2000.00. I paid down 2000.00 on 3-9-15. He came and ask the next day for 300.00 because someone had stole his jacks from his business. We wrote check for 300.00. Materials were delivered on Monday. He brought 2 men and dropped them off and picked them up a few hours later. After a few days I was able to speak to them. One was a young boy who said he knew nothing about floor repair, the other said he was an electrician. They were under house a few hours a day maybe 4 hours at the most. Mr Birl did not come to us until he said it was time for a draw and the work had been done. This work was under the house in crawl space so we could not see if it was done. We trusted him. He told us our plumbing needed to be changed from copper to pvc and it would be 1000.00 more dollars. On 3-23-15 he came and said work was complete and if we had any problems to let him know. He assured us he would fix anything that we had problems with. At this time I had furniture stacked in my home so I could not tell if the floors were level in some areas. The weather was wet and nasty this whole time also so the yard was a mess where they were coming and going. My husband at the time was ill and could not verify what Mr. Birl was telling us. We paid him a total of 9000.00. When we moved all the furniture and had carpet laid we noticed dining room floor was sagging more than before. We called him. He said he would come out and look. No show. We have repeatedly called and got the same I will be there today or tomorrow and then No Show. We had to have a heat and air person come and fix duct work from unit to house due to moisture and air flow escaping. ($350.00). At that time we noticed a duct hanging from main trunk on the ground so air was going under the house. While fixing this we were able to see work that had been done. (Not done.) We had only 15 joist replaced. Only a small amount of duct work was wrapped and had fallen off because it was house insulation not duct insulation. My dinning room floor is about to fall in. Plumbing still has some copper. 2 ton floor jack had been taken that was ours. I am now filing a civil suit against him and his company. We are sick over this and hope no one else gets taken like this. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
