KITCHENS BY DESIGN

6 years ago I hired this company to come and remodel my kitchen. Floors, backspash,cabinets, countertops, kitchen sink. I thought I was purchasing a quality product from a good company. My counter tops are damaged with big cracks (2 locations), and the seam between 2 pieces of counter top is unlevel. Also grout is falling out of my back splash. I called the company back in early Feb. and the owner/operator came out and looked at my issues. He said that he could repair the problem and he was not sure how the problems happened. The cost to repair would be around $250.00. I agreed to have the repairs done and he advised that it would be the first of March before he could get to the work. Here we are almost May and still no repairs. I have called several times, once I was assured that I would be called back within a week, but no return call. I called again yesterday and no return call! I can't help but think that this company does not want to repair the items they sold me, therefore I find their rating is bad and lousy. I hope that they can very soon get my repairs made as promised, but as of right now I am not sure that they will since they are ignoring me. If they choose NOT to make the promised repairs, I will have no choice but to replace the counter top all together! 06/04/14 update. They finally came on 05/23/14 to make the repairs. They were about 2 hours later arriving than they intially said they would be, but they did call and say they would be late something had come up. Overall the repairs were made to their product and I am happy. I felt the work was well done and the price was reasonable. Sincerely

The cabinets are wonderful with a few minor issues that should be expected.

absolutely perfect From the moment we went to them with our want list it was professionally handled. They assisted with design from pictures that we had shown them of things that we liked.Thier design far exceeded our expectations. The work was done in a timely fashion considering the fact that we were so pleased that we kept adding on more extras.

A pleasure to work with from initial meeting throughout the process till completion. So impressed with professionalism and craftmanship we kept adding additional projects. So pleased with all the help designing. Stephanie and Darryl Thomas took our ideas and made them come to life far better than we ever imagined. Such attention to detail. Plan to use them again for everything and anything we need done in our home. Considerate of the budget, no surprizes. Handled the cabinetry, the plumbing, the lighting and wiring, the backsplash,ect.,ect, ect. My only regret is that I did not also have them do all of our flooring. Darryl did however speak with the company who did do our flooring to assist us with dealing with some problems with them. Kitchen By Design is the best.
