Our insurance paid for most of it; we had $16,000 we had to pay for ourselves. I do know that our insurance company will probably never ever use them again because of the communication problems they had with them and we pretty much feel the same way. We still have a couple of things that they never came back and repaired. We are tired of dealing with them; we just switched our provider. There were 2 little pieces of trim work and we figured we will leave him out of it. They did good work with what they did, but it was just frustrating as it took 3 months. The fire happened on the 13th of May and we did get to move into the house till January and a lot of that was because they were waiting on us to do stuff. They had never told us that we had to do it. The experience was just a nightmare. Their pricing was reasonable. Some of the stuff they did we did really care for, but some of the stuff they did they didn’t discuss with the insurance company. I had a couple of issues with the quality; the fact that they had to metal up and over the floors. We had wood originally. I hate that metal stuff because everything falls through the cracks. We had originally 3 closets which we combined in to 2 closets and instead of putting the doorway in the middle; they put it to one side of the other where the original doorways were. So, it's kind of awkward to use the closets because you have to reach back all the way to one side in one of them. In the bathroom you got top shelves that are not functional as they should be. The foreman got right back to me. They were very professional.
Description of Work: I used John H Allen Inc to rebuild the entire interiors of our house. They plastered the walls, rewiring, trim work, paint job, slides, and stairs.
