after checking out my compressor- Mr. Carter was open and honest and told me that i would spend about half as much just to putr on a new compressor as for a new unit. my unit is over 18 years old and i can keep putting bandaids on it which is what this would be. he advised me to get at least 3 quotes for a new unit before deciding on who to put it in. it was refreshing to have someone suggest getting quotes from others.

I was in the process of trying to buy the home I was renting at the time and the home inspector had some concerns about the HVAC system and suggested we have an HVAC professional come take a look at it. I gave Carter's a call and they were able to come out within 1 day. The owner came out himself and spent almost two hours checking out the system. He explained everything he was doing in great detail and was extremely patient and thorough. It turns out that the concern the home inspector had wasn't any big deal, but when I told Mr. Carter that we were considering buying the house he even took the extra time to check all of the capacitors in the system just to make sure everything was in spec. He made recommendations about discussing a few things with the owners of the home and gave a very clear and concise summary of the overall condition of the HVAC unit and ductwork. Considering the very minimal charge to come out and the fact that he spent nearly two hours here I would certainly say I got my money's worth and then some. Mr. Carter is clearly a very knowledgeable professional and I would not hesitate to use him again if the need arose. I will also recommend him to my friends and acquaintances.

When we called for service the lady who answered the phone was nice and helpful. They came the same day of my call. The tech who came checked our unit and then cleaned it. He was very thorough. He explained everything he was doing and did not seem to be bothered by my watching him. The price was very reasonable. He cleaned up his work area well and did not leave a mess behind him.
