Description of Work: I have an LG refrigerator that was making a loud noise intermittently. I bought a 5 year extended service warranty on it (glad I did!!). I called the warranty # and had service scheduled with Bill's Appliance in Jackson, TN about 15 minutes from my house. They refused to do the service because the noise was not continuous but intermittent and the tech might not be able to reproduce the symptom. I was a Field Engineer for almost 30 years and I NEVER refused a call or charged a customer because the symptom was intermittent and I was unable to reproduce it. I could always gather some useful information that would help in determining the problem. But then, I provided quality service for my customers. Something sadly lacking in this day and age. Needless to say, I will never do business with this company again. I guess they never heard of courtesy calls.
