Christian Brother's Construction

Their handyman services really kind of blew up in my face. They took a lot of money and stole a lot of stuff out of the house that I had them working on. They did not finish the work and skipped out on me. They had some interior work, so they got inside and started cleaning out the house; I mean, they really cleaned it out in the real sense of the word. They never did complete the interior work, which was hanging sheetrock and doing some painting; basically, some maintenance on our house that was not taken real good care of. My experience with them was totally unacceptable, and so was their price. They quoted me $6,000 for this work and painting; they also wanted a check for $4,000 every week, and he had to have it because he had to pay his men, according to what he was telling me. They were very unprofessional and totally unresponsive. He would say that he would be there but would not show up. It was totally a bummer. I had a real bad experience with him, and I think other people ought to know him because he uses the name Christian Brother's and he has a big cross tattooed on his back, but he is working convicts and they are just a bunch of crooks. I would not use them again and would not recommend them to anyone else to use them. He is a bully. I have been in the construction business for forty three years so I know how to handle him. If he gets some little old lady to do business with him, it would scare me to death, because he will clean her out too. I want them out of my life, and I don't want to deal with them again. I paid him enough; I should not have paid him but I did. It was cheaper for me to get rid of him than to proceed. He was totally dishonest and an unlikable-type of person. I do not need somebody preaching hell and brimstone on my doorstep. I do not want to work with people like that.
