The plumber assigned showed up right away. Very professional and performed the work quickly. Excellent quality!

Exceptionally well, the estimate was made the day prior. The technician showed up wearing booties and was very friendly and professional. He removed the old toilet, seat, and tank and took it with him as well as installing a brand new beautiful kohler in it's place.

We have been very pleased with them, they have been very friendly and efficient. We plan to use them again when needed.

Had a leaky pipe under our kitchen sink that needed repaired. We live in a manufactured home with the gray piping that is not your "standard" size. Jon & Jason arrived on time, assessed the problem, and even found another leak we hadn't seen. They fixed our pipes and added some additional shut-off valves that we didn't have before. They even cleaned up when the job was done! :) Wow! I'm impressed with your magic! Thanks Jon & Jason!

I called on a Wednesday and got a call back from them first thing Thursday morning. They actually came over about 30 minutes after the phone call and finished the job within an hour. They were very fast and courteous. I would definitely work with them again.

I checked here on Angie's List to find a plumber to make the repair. I was impressed by the ratings Scenic City Plumbing had received so we gave them a call. They arrived about two hours later and quickly found out that the cheap faucet we had was kaput. They had a high quality replacement on the truck and we decided the price was acceptable. It took them an hour and 15 minutes to make the change. The work they did was very professionally done and they cleaned up whatever mess they had made. Both guys were very polite and friendly. I will definitely use this company for future plumbing needs.

As usual, our old decrepit hot water boiler and anything remotely connected to it continues to give us headaches. Puddles on the floor of the garage near the boiler speak volumes. As usual, one telephone call to Scenic City Plumbing (SCP) is all that it takes and "Joe-the Plumber" (NOT THAT "Joe the Plumber) with sleeves rolled up, promptly shows up on your doorstep! The problem was easily diagnosed and soon "Joe" was on his merry way, with a cheque for $112.25 in his pocket, leaving us with broad smiles on our faces and satisfaction with the work he had done! Jeff Logan's SCP still provides good, old-fashioned SERVICE!

To be honest, they did much more than that. SCP practically repaired the entire bathroom floor, not to mention the drain in the garage! Since all good things come in threes, it was time for our third toilet to cause us pain and suffering! Since SCP had repaired the other two "thrones" over the past two years, all it took was a phone call. By now we were "platinum grade" customers, which is probably why we were rewarded with a visit by his Highness the Great Jeff Logan himself, a short while later. One look at the puddle on our garage floor, and the drain pipe above, and the culprit was soon isolated- our third toilet! Two hours later "----" the plumber arrived, and commenced to tackle the problem. Sometime later a second one appeared and commenced to assist the first. A year earlier, we had had a similar problem with the toilet in the master bedroom, caused by the incompetence of the workmen who laid the bathroom floor tiles (see our report for 28th September, 2009). This time however, it took not one, but two plumbers over 4 hours with a lot of sawing, hammering, heaving, groaning, etc., etc., to get the work done. Watching them work was an education in itself. To make a long story short, SCP got the work done; as usual, they left the place clean and tidy- as if they had never been there!

As usual, before we put the telephone down, plumber "Joe" appeared as if by magic and proceeded to tackle said toilet. And ... before we sould say "abracadabra", the toilet flushed without a nasty puddle forming on the bathroom floor. What SCP charged us was a pittance compared to what the other "cut-throat" plumbing company wanted to milk us for!

On Sunday, the 13th of December, we were dismayed to discover that the Water Heater installed in our garage had sprung a leak. After turning off the water supply to the Boiler, we called Scenic City Plumbing (SCP) whom we had used before and left a message on their answering machine. Much to our astonishment, the owner Jeff Logan showed up early the next morning, and before we knew it, his workmen had replaced and hauled away the defective boiler and replaced it with a new one. Hats off to SCP!!!!

Early the next morning (Monday) the telephone rang and a lady from SCP informed us that a plumber was on his way and that he would telephone us shortly before he arrived at our house. A few minutes later, the telephone rang again and a voice (for matters of convenience we'll call him Joe- not the infamous "Joe the Plumber") informed us that he was in the driveway, and would we please open the garage doors so that he could see what the problem was. Some years earlier, workmen had had to unseat the toilet in order to lay new tiles in our bathroom. After the tiles were laid, they used cardboard inserts in order to adjust the level of the "throne". Over time, these inserts had rotted away, causing a space in the socket, through which water now seeped every time the toilet flushed. To make matters worse, the house had "settled" over time, causing the floor to "warp" slightly, yet enough to make things a little more problematic. "Joe" had to insert, not one, but two spacers in order to straighten things out, and in all fairness informed us that all he could guarantee was his work and the materials used, and that it could well happen that he would be visiting us again. "Joe" charged us the minimum price possible, and considering the time and effort he had taken, it was more than fair, especially since I had actually seen him working and that what he had to cope with.

Kitchen sink would not drain. Had tried plunging, Drain-O, and a plumbers snake, all to no avail. Finally broke down and decided to call a plumber. Didn't know where to start, so I signed up for Angie's List and saw that Scenic City had an A rating, so I gave them a call. They were out to lunch (I guess, it was lunch-time and there was no answer), so I left a message with all my information. Several hours later, when I still hadn't heard from them, I gave them a call back. I asked about rates and they let me know their hourly rate, and after I asked about charging for drive-time I was informed that they do charge 15 minutes for drive time. So, the 1st hour is really 45 minutes, but any time after that first hour is pro-rated. Guy came out and tried snaking the line twice as well as plunging it. Finally told me he would have to go up on the roof. He was finally able to get the sink working again, as the problem was a clogged plumbing vent pipe. While there, I also had him install new pipes under the sink and replace the plumbers putty under the sink baskets. I do have a couple of complaints. First, that I was not told there would be a surcharge for roof access. Had I been told upfront, I would have given the go-ahead - I didn't have much choice if I wanted it fixed - but it just would have been nice to be told upfront instead of finding out when I saw the invoice. Also, it would have been nice to receive a call back instead of having to call them a second time. Otherwise, I was very pleased with the overall experience and would use them again.

They do great service. They are reasonable, honest and on time. We would recommend them.

Great service! My new home water heater pop off valve failed and flooded my home and garage. The plumber that was supposed to warrant the work...Mainline Plumbing...refused to come and fix the problem. This caused extensive damage and mold issues. Once the pop off valve was changed out, I decided to have a drain line installed that would take any future leaks to the exterior of my home since the water heater was located in the garage next to an interior wall. I called Scenic City Plumbing. They sent someone that day to look over the job and had someone do the work the next morning. They performed the job professionally and quickly. $195 was a small price to pay for peace of mind! UPDATE: I called Scenic City Plumbing about coming back to my house to install a new bathtub. The owner, Jeff Logan, was supposed to come out to give me a quote on the job. He never showed up. Several days later, I once again called the office to see if he would come out. They told me that he would give me a call. It has been over a week and I have not heard from him. I am disappointed. They were prompt and reasonable on the first job but this recent development has caused me to downgrade my initial report.

They arrived promptly, they were very courteous, they were knowledgable. They took their time, they were not in a hurry. I would definitely use them again and have used them in the past. They have been here a long time, they have a great reputation.

Very well, I would not hesitate to use them again.

My husband noticed the elbow was leaking yesterday morning while he was installing a sump pump in the crawl space under our home. He attempted to repair the elbow leak himself but was not successful, so we turned to Angie's List. He called Scenic City Plumbing who was able to come out today. They were prompt, friendly and professional. The elbow leak was fixed in approximately 35 minutes.

Took care of the problem. Note: The 'B' on price was that the parts & labor were included into one price instead of broken down. I could have gotten a cheaper WH at Lowes or HD ... but it may have been a 'cheaper' WH.

They determined that it was coming from under my refrigerator, pulled the refirigerator out and told me to call an appliance repair company. (Water was pouring from under the refrigerator when they pulled it out. I was mopping with towels etc.)..They only charged me for 1/2 a service charge but did nothing to cut off the water.. I called the manufacturer and they walked me through cutting off the water. It only involved finding and the turning off a small value. After I thought about it--I wondered why they couldn't have done that. They was more water put on my floor, more washing and more stress for me.

SERVICE CALL WAS SUPER QUICK AND WHEN TOLD IT WOULD BE. JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY AND EFFICIENTLY. AND THE COST WAS LESS THAN THE PHONE ESTIMATE THE GUYS WERE FAST AND FRIENDLY.. THANKS GUYS AND JUNE

They explained the process and proceeded with the plan. They both had booties on their feet so that they would not mess up my floors.

The phone person was very professional and took all my information. They sent someone couple of hours after I called. They unstopped the drain and were very professional and I thought fair in the price.

I called Scenic City Plumbing after putting up with toliet issues for about a week and finally broke down and called the plumber. He was at my house within an hour of calling them, very repectful and concerned with not tracking in any outside dirt. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on the point of view, my toliet had cleared itself of the partial clog and there is a house call charge (I think it's $89, but I had a coupon for $10 off). So he checked the toliet out and explained it seemed ok now but since I had him out here and had to pay the service call, I had him unclog my bathroom sink that was very slow to drain for me which he didn't charge any extra for. He also gave me a magnet/honey-do list that has coupons on it for Scenic City and their contact info. So, other than feeling as I threw away $80, the service was friendly enough and it wasn't their fault my problem fixed itself.

I have used them on two ocassions (located them via Angie's list). Both have been great experiences. I think they provide an excellent value and you can speak with the owner at any time. I would recommend them to anyone.

Derrick and Josh were very courteous and professional, left a clean work area and were respectful of my floors. I had a coupon from Angie's list which I almost forgot, but they reminded me of when I was paying!
