Description of Work: Installed a new faucet for the outside of the home. Probably did about an hours worth of work, but charged me for around two hours. Maybe because when he reurned from getting equipment I got charged more for labor because there was two of them? I would just make sure when the labor charges are starting because I think they use a special clock.

Description of Work: They repaired a broken pipe that goes to the washer hook up.

Description of Work: I use Scenic City Plumbing for plumbing services. The last time we used them was in September of last year and they put in two bathroom faucets for me, a cut of valve and they realized that there was too much water pressure, so they went under the house and put a regulator on for us and several other things that were problems I had.

Description of Work: I had a an outdoor faucet that was dripping water. The drip was under the house so the access was difficult. The company went under the house and fixed the drip.

Description of Work: Scenic City Plumber unclogged a pipe.

Description of Work: Two men came out from the company to look for a leak between my home and my water connection at the street. They arrived 20 minutes late, walked around on the phone and dug in my yard for about an hour and a half, then told me the price would be $95.00 an hour, no $110.00 an hour since there were two of them (95 for plumber and 15 for assistant). I asked them how much longer they thought it would take and they said about 30 minutes. They dug for 30 more minutes, then told me they could not dig any further, that it would require a back hoe, since the digging was difficult and the diameter of the hole so small it was hard for them to dig any further. I had watched the digging for a few minutes and the soil they were removing was very dry and dusty. I had asked them if the leak could be there with the soil that dry. They stopped at 11:30 and spent the rest of the time on the phone with their boss, I guess, since I told them I would take up the payment issue with him when he came out the next day to give estimate. They were unable to give an estimate for replacing the line. When I talked to my husband, he told me that the holes had already been dug by another plumber who gave an estimate, so they were basically just removing loose soil. I decided that they have devised a scheme whereby they come work for long enough to get the potential customer into the hundreds, then that way they will get the job, so that the customer does not lose their money. I called the next day and got another plumber to do the job, and told the Scenic City people that i would not need their estimate. The owner called me to argue about it. I told him to send me a bill for the two hours his two men worked and I would pay it, even though I thought the price ridiculous. He explained that it actually is $115.00 for a plumber and a plumber's helper. I asked him which one of them was the plumber, since neither appeared to know what they were doing and one walked around on the phone most of the time he was here. He told me that Doug was the plumber. When I got the bill, the two men were listed as Greg and David. I doubt I will ever use Angie's list again. Thanks for the crooks though. It was a lesson learned.

Description of Work: I used Scenic City Plumbing for some plumbing work. They replaced a dripping valve under a sink.

Description of Work: came to fix a leak, after replacing approx 10 feet of flexible water lines it then was leaking from all of the new joints. he then had to redo all of the connections and of course charged for the additional time it took to redo his own poor work. after all that, guess what, it has started leaking again from one of those connections.

Description of Work: The plumber replaced a drain valve on a waterheater

Description of Work: I reported sinks draining slowly and toilets not flushing well or clogging. They checked every thing that I described and also checked out the sewer line and outside water faucets. They adjusted or replaced hardware as needed and always asked me before they performed the work. The job took about 45 minutes for two sinks, two toilets and one tub.

Description of Work: What a fantastic experience. Realized there was a problem with one or both gas hot water heaters. Called Scenic City Plumbing and they had Bo over to see us within 1.5 hours of my call. Had two new hot water heaters installed by Bo and Greg within 4.5 hours of initial arrival and have nothing but the utmost respect for this company and their thoroughness. I had taken a very rare day off for other house repairs and realized there was a problem. Got it all done in may allowed time. Fantastic.

Description of Work: Located and repaired underground leak between water meter and irrigation system back flow preventer.

Description of Work: Hall bath was stopped up. 'Bo' from SCP came and fixed the problem. 'Bo' offered a couple of things that would help in the future.

Description of Work: My wife and I just bought a house and budgeted for a couple of broken items in the home including an upstairs toilet that was leaking into the basement and a garbage disposal that had a flex pipe which can get clogged easily.

Description of Work: We needed a shut-off valve in our small bathroom, our faucet was worn out, we provided the faucets for both bathroom sinks. He replaced our faucets and put a shut-off valve in our small bathroom sink, the other bathroom sink had a valve. Also, he realized our water pressure was very high, explained what he could do to elevate the problem. He did not pressure us at all we decided to have him put a regulator on, he had to climb under the house. We are very pleased with the work.

Description of Work: I used Scenic City Plumbing to repair a shower drain as well as redo some plumbing work in the kitchen and bathrooms. They also fixed a leak in my water heater.

Description of Work: Drains were plugged up and needed to be cleaned out from two bathrooms and kitchen sink.

Description of Work: The two guys, Greg & Matt, were extra careful of the floors going into the bathroom. They were professional, caring, courteous, and very human in conversation. We were extremely pleased. They got here on time, did the job and were gone in about an hour.

Description of Work: Unclogged toilet. Pulled out plastic from tidy-bowl cleaner and a wash cloth.

Description of Work: The first time Scenic City Plumbing fixed a leak around the master tub seal but it ended up being a tiny hole in the copper tube that was spraying up on the PVC pipe. They had to come back and see what the problem was because first time they didn't fix what they thought it was.

Description of Work: Repaired plumbing under kitchen sink. Also, opened ceiling and discovered faulty gasket in tub above, which was causing water damage in below.

Description of Work: They ran a Roto-Rooter through my sewer lines with a camera on it.
