Fixed leak at base on one toilet and repaired a broken flange on the base of another toilet.

Scenic City diagnosed and evaluated problems with my hot water heater, a Reliance 606 model with electric heating. Subsequently, Scenic City replaced the upper and lower thermostat, and the lower heating element. Lastly, Scenic City reset the temperature to the newly desired temperature setting which I wanted. I called the ?Scheduler?, Ms. Judy on Thursday, at 870-0075 and scheduled the work for the following Monday morning. Ms. Judy was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Thence, on Monday morning at 8 am, Ms. Judy called to confirm the appointment, as she previously said she would when I ?booked? the appointment. The Plumber, Mr. Greg arrived promptly at 9 am as scheduled, and: (1) Thoroughly diagnosed all issues / problems with the hot water heater, (2) Did the repairs in a robust manner to preclude future issues for some time to come, and then (3) Mr. Greg took time to talk with me on the phone and answered all my questions / concerns. (my wife was at home for the appointment) Mr. Greg did an outstanding job on all counts, and was very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very professional. He was very efficient in performing the diagnosis & subsequent repair work. Lastly, their charge rate was very reasonable, and slightly less than I anticipated considering all the parts that were replaced. Bottom Line: I was most satisfied by the outstanding job by Scenic City Plumbing, A++ on all counts.

My water heater was 10 years old and I did not want it to fail since it was in the attic. I found them on angies List and read the ratings so I called them and Judy sent Bo out the same day. He came fully prepared to replace my unit with an energy saving new one and when I told him about the issues we have with it taking forever to get hot water downstairs he advised a circulating pump. I also wanted a timer to save energy at night and he had that too. He had to call for help to remove and bring up the heaters since they were upstairs and they were very careful not to damage anything. It was all installed and ready to go after about 4 hours. Bo had to put up with the heat in the attic area and going up and down the stairs alot. He was very nice and professional. I have another project I plan to have them do later.

The bid for this job was $1,700 to bring the new PEX water supply lines. The purpose was to replace the copper lines, which had ruptured in 8-different places, including 2 places inside of interior walls of the home. The original bid was to stop at the floors w/the PEX and connect to the existing copper; however, whenever I confirmed that there were 2 ruptures inside of interior walls in the home, I insisted that everything copper be removed and replaced w/PEX. That drove the bid up to $2,100. This amount was supposed to cover all parts and labor and bring brand new PEX lines from the main supply under the home all the way to the finishing connections on the interior of the home. So the revised bid was $2,100. I accepted the bid and SCP arrived on the date scheduled, but about an hour late, to perform the work. I was assured the work w/be completed in 1 day. By the end of the day, the 2 plumbers on the job had encountered a few difficulties: namely, their boss had failed to provide them w/the required 3/4 " supply line. He'd told them the home only had 1/2" line. Therefore, they had to wait appx 3 hrs for boss to bring them the proper material, throwing the job out of the timing schedule I'd been promised. The 2 plumbers worked VERY hard to try to stay on schedule and finish the job; however, they were unable to complete that day and had to return the following morning. Meanwhile, I was being penalized by the boss (who inspected the home and wrote-up the bid) because the crew couldn't complete the job in 1 day (because they weren't provided the material they needed to start the job) and I was told I'd have to pay by the hour to have them work a little later on the 1st day, then return the followiung day to complete the job. This resulted in an overage of $500 on the final bill, which I was instructed I was responsible for -- regardless of the bid price that won the job in the 1st place. I informed both the plumbers and the boss that I was not happy w/the resulting overcharge, but neither of them acknowledged that the fact they didn't arrive until almost 10:00 and didn't have the material they needed were contributing factors. Basically, I got an "I'm sorry it went over the cost...we did the best we could". Neither did it account for the fact that I actually served as a labor/gopher person, twice running to the hardware store to get various other things they needed to comlete the job. And I paid for it. And I helped (physical labor). AND I allowed them to borrow one of my power tools...all trying to be helpful. At the end of the day, the amount I paid for this job was $400 more than the competing bid I received by a competitor for the same work. And SCP refused to make it right. Therefore, I can not recommend them and will not do business w/them again.

Outstanding service from the time I initially called through the service call. I called Friday afternoon to schedule an appointment presumably for the following week. Instead the technician, Greg, was out to my house in less than an hour and had the leak fixed in less than 20 minutes. Outstanding!

Contact was made late afternoon on Wednesday and an appointment was setup for the next morning. They made a courtesy call Thursday morning and arrived when they said they would. We explained the problem was a stopped up sink line. They cleared the blockage and we have not had any issue since. Service people were very polite and professional. We would highly recommend this company and will use them again if the need ever arises.

We were very impressed that they took the time to assess and then fix the water heater, rather than trying to sell us a new one since the unit is older. They did a great job with unclogging the drain. A month later, everything is still working great. They were punctual and professional and explained their findings and repairs.

The main water service line from the water meter at the street developed a slow leak about 75 feet from the house. After the utility company noted a much higher usage (about double) rate than normal we inspected the line but could not find the leak. We hired a leak detection company that found the leak very right away using very sophisticated equipment . Scenic City Plumbing was very quick to respond to our call to fix the leak and even though they were initially delayed due to problems at another job were able to be at our home the same day to repair the leak. The two technicians that arrived were professional and friendly. While we were waiting for the cement to harden to sufficient strength before the water could be turned on they also repaired two leaking faucets in my bathroom thus making the best use of their time. They refilled the hole they dug where the leak was and carefully cleaned up the area. They also performed a walkthrough to ensure all the air was out of the water lines in the house before leaving. The price for all they did was quite reasonable. I have used Scenic Plumbing on more than one occasion and am completely satisfied with their work.

I went fine. They were on time, and did good job.

That took the bulk of the $300 cost. I won't know until my next electric bill whether the fix truly worked, but I'm confident it will.

I thought ok, but now later my friend whos dad was a master plumber (who assisted him for 25 years) said it was installed wrong with no attention to detail. Now I must hire a new plumber!

Excellent people.... thought I would need to replace (even bought one) but they fixed it and another faucet in a few minutes.

Sewage backed up. I called them. They worked me in that day. They had to dig down to get to clean out. They unstopped it all. They were professional, polite, and I thought pricing was good.

Came same day as called. Did a thorough job. Drain works fine now.

I received same day service to repair an outside water faucet that was leaking. The service tech arrived on time and was very polite. He explained exactly what was wrong and fixed the faucet. He let me know that I would likely need a new faucet in the near future as mine is out of date and parts can no longer be obtained. All work was accomplished in under 1 Hour. I will definitely use this firm again.

Plumber showed up on time in a clean truck with a clean uniform. He was very friendly and professional. He got right to work and very quickly determined that the bottom element was only operating at just under 50% and needed to be replaced. He was able to make the repair without completely draining the tank and showed great concern to minimize water discharge in my garage during the repair. He treated my home like his home which is greatly appreciated. He had the repair done in less than an hour. He also took the time to answer some questions I had regarding some other minor plumbing issues. Excellent service at a fair price.

I called at 9am. I got same day service with the plumbers arriving in 90 minutes. (We have had below freezing temp for the last week and they had many calls for busted pipes reported. But they came quickly. Other plumbers were not available due to the many calls till Sunday or Monday.) The work was completed in under 2.5 hours and the debris was removed and cleaned up. They explained the tasks and found a secondary problem that can be addressed later when the weather changes. This was the best Plumbing company I have come across. I have had four water emergencies in the last 6 years, this was the quickest response, lowest price every. No equipment fees, no trip fees or a charge for two plumbers fee. Excellent experience. I've lived here over 20 yrs and have never had an issue w/my pipes bursting/freezing, even though they're in the garage. Plumber recommended PEX piping over copper -- I'd never heard of PEX. I did my own review of PEX while he was working on my pipes and saw that it now is being used instead of copper in >40% of new construction. PEX has many advantages over copper, it's less expensive, and it's VERY easy to install. I'm glad this plumber educated me on its application and advanatages over copper and I'll begin to use it going forward.

It was found to be normal, so no worries. The machine had been purchased recently and no charge was made for the service call. The service was excellent.
