+ -1 moreCharlie Clark, "the Roof Master", agreed to repair the rubber roof over our carport to stop a leaking problem. He was supposed to build up one side a few inches, to allow for the water to run off of the roof instead of pooling in the middle, and replace the rubber. He did not add any slope to the roof, only laid plywood down flat so we still have the pooling we wanted to alleviate. He demanded payment every time he was on the job, requiring me to leave work in the middle of the day to pay him multiple times. In the end, he did not even finish the job. He said he would be back as soon as the final materials he needed were delivered to him, and never returned. He has blocked both my number and my husband's number (after trying to call him only one time each). He was extremely unprofessional. The work he did do is sloppy. The sealant (black tar) around the edges dripped down the sides of the carport, which is white, making it extremely visible and messy looking. This is one of the things he was going to address when he came back to finish up ---- which never happened. I would not recommend "the Roof Master" for any jobs, no matter how small. DO NOT USE!!!!!!!!

+ -1 moreStarted out very cordial. I was really looking forward to him coming out for the repairs and a new roof, but after several lame excuses he never showed up and quit returning my calls after leaving several messages.
Description of Work: I spoke with Regina and Charlie Masters several times and made appointments... all of which were broken. I needed repairs on a guest house and a new roof on the main house. I kept getting excuses as to why they couldn't make the appointments until they started simply ignoring my calls. I left several messages which were never returned. It's been almost three weeks and I still haven't heard from them. I called another roofer and he showed up within an hour, repaired the guest house roof the same day and is scheduled to replace the roof on the main house. Charlie seemed really nice on the phone the few times I talked to him, but I haven't heard anything more from him since he started ignoring my messages. I'll never try to call Roof Masters again.

+ -1 moreI can't find any don'ts cause he did what he said he would do in a timely manner and in great detail...very pleased.
Description of Work: I called to get an estimate to put in a new sky light...Charlie went above and beyond my expectations...Fixing things that I had not been completed by the last roof installation person. He put in the skylight...replaced on the screws in the metal roof, added the end pieces all around the roof that had never been put on by the last person...Cleaned the roof...IT looks wonderful like new...He was punctual, polite, ran a tight ship, employees seemed to respect and like him yet knew he meant busines..I was very well pleased and would recommend him to anyone needing roof repairs or installations.
