Description of Work: Removed original garage decking and railings. Enlarged garage deck, built new railings and removed all debris. Everything went great!

Description of Work: Pipe leak in the ceiling ruined blown ceiling and hardwood floor. |Repaired drywall ceiling, scraped off old textured ceiling, ripped up old hardwood floor. Installed new textured ceiling and new hardwood flooring. |They made a mess on the walls, light fixtures and window sills removing old textured ceiling. Pierced one HVAC duct, chipped tiles at bathroom and dining room, gouged chunks out of door frames, marred walls while removing hardwood floor. Spilled paint on the driveway and sidewalk. Did an O.K. job of re-texturing ceiling. Floor guys were h the pre-finishd flooring. A lot of dings during installation. Did not cull some of the more undesireable knot holes. Did not install hardwood floor close enough to stair for coverage by trim, when they tried to fix it, damaged adjacent flooring, then quit - I ended up fixing this myself. Installed some floor transition "T" trim, did not puddy the face nail holes that were left because quarter round did not cover (they did not remove baseboard) then disappeared. I have not heard from them in over a week. Repaired the floor, puddied the nail holes, installing the rest of the T molding, cleaning,patching the holes in the wall, painting the walls, removed,cleaned and reinstalled the light fixtures, replaced HVAC duct and chipped tiles myself. |I believe the project manager is a good guy and meant well. Promised that I would be pleased at the start of the job, I am not. They did bring in a painter to paint the baseboard only. He did a nice job.

Description of Work: Tony provided a quick initial estimate but then I didn't hear from him for weeks. Finally said he couldn't do the work because he was too busy.

Description of Work: Install, mud, and sand about 10 sheets of drywall. There was some framing done, (where the tub had to go through an existing wall.) Install a bathtub. Install ceiling fan.

Description of Work: Contracted Pickett to repair water damage from a flooded washer on 2nd floor. This consisted of 1)painting first floor ceiling in den 2)painting stairway walls up to and including 2nd floor landing 3)replacing linoleum in laundry room and one bathroom 4)replacing engineered wood flooring in 1st floor foyer and dining room. I would have very, very easily given Pickett the highest grade possible except for the subcontractor they hired to do the flooring. They were slow and they appeared to not have been doing this work very long as they did not have even the most common tools I had seen for taking up the old floor and putting down the new. The parts of the job that Pickett itself did were first-rate and 100% professionally done. Tony Smith (Pickett) did everything possible to make sure we were satisfied by working with the subcontractor and we really appreciated the work he did. We had Tony quote additional flooring work to make the rest of the home look like the new flooring but we canceled this due to lack of funds. After looking at the disparity in the old and new flooring we decided to do the work anyway but chose a different contractor because all of this additional work was flooring. Please let me reiterate...Tony Smith and Pickett were OUTSTANDING in their work and their liaison with the subcontractor trying to make things right for me. The subcontractor was the sole issue. I am certain that he will think very hard when he next has a job that requires flooring. Thank you Tony...please pass on my appreciation to your crew.

Description of Work: Installed and finished drywall in master bathroom, closet and guest room that were remodeled. Rooms were framed and ready to hang drywall when we hired Pickett to do the job.

Description of Work: After a pipe burst in my kitchen water destoryed the subflooring and part of the finished basement. Pickett came in and redid everything. They replaced the kitchen floor and cabinets, repaired and replaced damaged drywall.

Description of Work: I used Pickett Construction to do some interior work because we had a roof leak. We just had our roof replaced and they took care of some cosmetic problems. It was drywall work and pull down stairs that had been soaked by a roof leak right around the chimney. They had to replace the pull down stairs with laminated plywood.

Description of Work: We had many repair work done due to frozen water pipe by Pickett Construction Co Inc in September. The work started in June and finished in September. They remodeled the entire kitchen, dining room, living room, hallway, upstairs, stairs, ceiling, bathroom, and the family room. They also put new hardwood flooring and did painting. They also did new walls in the kitchen. They custom build homes for their customers. They did an excellent job with plumbing as well. He did things that were not there in the contract as well.
