 + -1 moreI got same day service and didn't pay an extra charge. They were prompt and extremely friendly. It's sad that the previous company, ARS, had overcharged the A/C unit to where it could have potentially damaged our compressor. You have to wonder if they don't know what they are doing or saboteurs to get a new sale of equipment. It's hard to find someone you can trust these days but I trust Southside Air Conditioning
Description of Work: Southside Air Conditioning was recommended to us by a family member. The request was to have the A/C system checked out to ensure it was operating at it's best. Our A/C unit is 23 yrs. old. Brian quickly determined that the system had too much freon and was pushing liquid through the compressor instead of a gas. Therefore it was not cooling properly.

 + -1 moreThe previous company broke an internal part (TXV), Brian found the issue rather quickly and by the next morning had the new part and installed it without issue. Clearly knew what he was doing and the system is working correctly now. Highly recommended.

I was very happy about that and the fact that the guy that came out was extremely knowledgeable and was very good about advising me to the best solution to my problem. Their quality of work on the job was great and they did the duct work repair for no additional charge.
Description of Work: Southside Heating and Air replaced my heat pump. They removed the old unit and replaced it with a 3 1/2 ton unit and had to repair some duct work and re-run some of the electrical.
