He came out, he fixed it, a couple weeks later it was broken. After he fixed it the second time, it was broken in a day. I had just bought the condo I was not ready to fix it, in the meantime I am talking to other people, and then went with The Old Republic which would give me 1500 dollars towards a new air conditioner. I had to pay 85.00 for pride home to come out. After he said "you need a new one" it was about 2 or 4 weeks before he gave me an estimate. With how hot it was I'm not waiting that long, it is really hot here in Nashville. It can get over 100 out here.

He was able to get the model number and serial number and replace a unit another contractor was supposed to have replaced but the supplier had never had the compressor with that serial number claimed for replacement. Mr. Ritchie came in and fixed something that was supposed to be fixed by the original contractor. He was timely and stood behind his work. The condensation pump had also broken but the first contractor said that was another issue and would require another service call and parts fee even though they had installed the unit and would not stand behind their work. The new condensation pump that Mr Ritchie installed later broke again because the weight of the water was too heavy for the bracing. He came back in a timely manner, replaced the broken condensation pump and corrected the bracing so that it would not break again. He did not charge for the replacement because it was under warranty and not only made sure it was working correctly but added the bracing with no charge so that the problem would not recur. He called back to ensure his fix had worked. He stood behind his work and did so in a timely manner. He called to let me know when he was on his way to do the repairs. The pump and the compressor have continued to work without breaking and although both were under warranty, were not replaced by the original contractor. I found Mr. Ritchie to be professional and efficient and he stood behind his work. I would highly recommend this company for any HVAC installation or repairs and any kitchen or bathroom remodeling.

The quality of the work was excellent and done as promised for the amount estimated, however afterwards the owner of the company became verbally hostile with us over the phone when we questioned him about his scheduling practices. It was obvious that the owner was under a lot of stress juggling demanding customers during the busy summer months, and apparently our conversation pushed him over the edge, resulting in him shouting at us on the phone during two separate calls. Otherwise, this company's owner does excellent quality work at great prices.
